Returning to Las Cascadas after about 13 years, I had high expectations based on my memories of the place—but unfortunately, I was completely let down. The park felt neglected, almost as if I had wandered into an abandoned water park. It was eerily quiet, with barely any visitors, and the few employees around seemed disengaged, as if they were just going through the motions.
The overall condition of the park was disappointing. The pools were dirty, with visible debris floating around, and the “Río Loco” was still and murky, lacking any current or motion. The wave pool was over-chlorinated to the point that I was worried about the effects on my skin and eyes—it felt like I could come out with my skin bleached! On top of that, most of the slides were out of service, which was a huge disappointment given that they’re a big attraction for families.
The park also felt unsafe in several areas. I noticed open access to some dangerous spots that were completely unattended, which seemed like a big risk for any visitors who might come with kids.
I get that the park was practically empty due to the rainy day, but the lack of attention from the staff was surprising. They spent more time on their phones than paying attention to their surroundings or ensuring a good experience for the few guests there.
Overall, I’d advise others to save their money and skip this park. It’s simply not worth the time, money, or the hassle. If Las Cascadas was once a fun place to visit, it sadly...
Read moreDefinitely overpriced for adults and the kids.! I can't believe I wasted over 140$ for 2 adults and 2 8 year olds and a little 2 yr old baby they still charged! Really boring for the adults. The kids love anything in water so they are happy but me not so much plus they have half the damn park shit down the only couple decent waterslides they have are both down and still no price cut! Sick how money hungry it can get. I know they want money too but come on, a baby really charge like 10 bucks for a baby to come. When there's 4 other paying adults u charge for a tiny little baby that can't do shit but take me away from doing anything else in the park. 😂 I love her I'm kidding 😂. But wow they suck for that shit for real I'm from Wisconsin and home of 2 of the worlds largest water parks I grew up an hour away and went every summer 2 or 3 times and they charged way less! Id find offers on off days for 5$ admission, cuz they need people there hoping you buy food and other stuff parking fee and everything. They are smarter, give them free admission practically and bank on the food and drink cuz it's open from 8am -10pm and they have roller coasters and massive huge slides and not one or 2. They have dozens of awesome slides and roller coasters. Inside park and outside connected, it's amazing check it out sometime if you lucky to get there. Noah's ark and Mt Olympus in Wisconsin Dells.! 1 hour west of Milwaukee Wisconsin. Makes these places look like...
Read moreIt was an entertaining day. The place was nice and clean. They sell food and drinks. They also have vending machines. Chairs and tables are limited so get there early. You get lucky and find a lounge chair but no shade. The tables are under shade. You can also rent tents with tables and chairs for an extra fee. I think the lady that I spoke to said it was about $140 for the day. Parking fee is $5 and 2 size lockers. The small size is $10 and the large is $20. The kids and even adults will really enjoy this place. Just make sure you wear lots of...
