Technicians claimed my vehicle had a damaged ball joint and that I had 1 week left in it. Of course I got scared, but at the moment I did not have the $500 to fix it. Two months later, problem got worst and I found the money. Took it to Pep Boys Aguadilla on 7/12/2023. Service Employee 1 gave me a price of $507 (with taxes) for the entire repair. Car gets repaired and they call me. Service Employee 2 gave me a WAY higher price and I kindly asked him to contact Service Employee 1 for the correct peice. Service Employee got annoyed by my request, abd he said that THAT is the price the system was providing, but he called Service Employee 2 anyway. Once the correct price was charged to me, they then returned the vehicle. Only problem? They charged me $59.99 for an alignmrnt/bala cing that NEVER took place! The vehicle is automatically steering left and it is making the nastiest of noises. And now, I don't have the time to return to the store as I work 8am to 5pm and it was a complete horrible experience. Go to Autozone or your local mechanic!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND PEP...

I specified that the reason why I wanted a complete flush and refill was to change from universal fluid to the recommended Japanese Pink AF. They did agree with me and everything good until I received my vehicle with coolant levels close to low and the same incorrect universal AF. Very dissapointed about the lack of communication. I even agreed to be contacted for more details if necessary and they never did. A quick call or better communication between the front employee and the mechanic could have made the difference to service my car correctly. Now they won't even answer the calls so that we can work something out. At this point I wouldn't want them to service my car after having to leave the bad review, but maybe I could get a refund so that I can get the correct service elsewhere. They don't have a clue what they're doing. They charge more than a dealership. They are incompetent and try to sell you things you don't need. They basically suck. Word has it that advance Auto parts has bought them. I hope they're smart enough to fire everybody who worked for pep boys because they are useless and uneducated.
