Boeckh Park — Attraction in Aiken County

This park runs along the Savannah river in Augusta, GA. It is serene with beautiful views and clean. There are many curb cuts for wheelchairs and strollers. There were people walking, running, chatting on the benches, picnicking and taking in the view.The curb cuts also work for the skaters and skateboarders. The skaters and boarders shared the sidewalks politely. All the dogs we saw being walked were on leashes and well controlled. Simply beautiful and peaceful setting. No play sets in the park for the kids but just enough space for them to run around (like we use to do back in the days) and play.
