I absolutely love this trail system. Last year I used it to commute to work everyday, a nice slice of "wilderness" in the middle of a busy city. Tons of moose make the bike a bit more fun. In the spring/summer/fall I use it for biking, in the winter for skiing. A lot of connections with other parks/trail systems. Definitely worth a checkout if you are in the area. Follows a creek the whole way, lots of wildlife, decent privacy if you commute in the am.

This place can be beautiful if the city would take care of it. Homeless encampments encircle the park making it somewhat dangerous for people that aren’t aware. Fires have been started and burned down sections of the woods. The playground is a decent place for the kids but mind the trash and debris. Fishing often occurs but with the trash in the creek I wouldn’t recommend eating your catch.

Go tubing with my kids on this creek. We have so much fun!!! The water is refreshing but cold and and some days you move pretty fast. Get some good tubes and have a blast. We usually start at the park by Tudor and Lake Otis and exit the creek either behind Tudor Bingo or Peanut Farm. Trip takes anywhere from one to two hours. Have a Blast!!!

Campbell Creek Park, situated near the intersection of Lake Otis Parkway and Tudor Road in Anchorage, Alaska, is a delightful urban park that offers a range of recreational activities and natural beauty. The park provides convenient access to the Campbell Creek Trail, a 7.5-mile path popular with walkers, runners, and cyclists. This trail is particularly known for its scenic views of Campbell Creek, where visitors can often see salmon spawning at certain times of the year.

One of the standout features of Campbell Creek Park is its updated playgrounds, designed to cater to children of various age groups. The inclusive playgrounds have equipment suitable for toddlers (ages 2-5) and older children (ages 5-12), ensuring that children of all abilities can enjoy the facilities.

The park also serves as a launch point for inner tubing along Campbell Creek, making it a popular spot during the summer months. For those interested in picnicking, the park offers well-maintained picnic areas perfect for family outings.

The park's recent improvements, made possible through community efforts and significant funding, include new playground equipment, picnic and seating plazas, and enhanced landscaping. These enhancements have greatly increased the park's appeal and usability for the local community.

With two parking lots and a portable restroom available during the warmer months, Campbell Creek Park is both accessible and convenient. The park is also equipped with features to facilitate safe crossings at busy intersections, ensuring visitors can navigate the area safely.

Overall, Campbell Creek Park is a beautifully maintained, family-friendly destination in Anchorage that offers a perfect blend of outdoor recreation and natural beauty. Whether you are looking to enjoy a peaceful walk along the creek, have a fun day out with the kids, or engage in some wildlife viewing, this park is an...

It's a very nice park, and a great place for outings with the kids etc. There is an assortment of playground equipment that is very nice, and a few picnic tables, and a softball or baseball area.

It's very sad that the homeless people who hang around here often make the park an unpleasant place to be.

Years ago there was a very nice boardwalk overlooking the creek where visitors could sit and rest and look at the fish. Because of the dunks that constantly hung out there and passed out on the deck they were removed.

Even with the boardwalk removed, drunks still hang out in the park and four letter words are often shouted in ear shot of little children.

Fortunately the drunks don't hang around the playground that often, it's mostly in the woods and in the entrance to the park

I don't recommend going into the park at night by yourself, especially if you are female or have little children with you.

Perhaps if the rescue mission on Tudor relocated to a different place then the park will be a better place to visit. I've spoken with many of the drunks who hang out in the park, and many of them congregate because they get locked out of the rescue mission at night because they have been drinking.

It's still a great park though, and as long as you are aware of your surroundings and enter the park on the playground side then you shouldn't have too much...

It's best buy. Decent selection of stuff you would have to order online otherwise, even if it is at a mark up, but that's pretty much any store here. Staff was understanding I assumed and left me alone when asked for a while as I stewed on a big purchase and got a feel for the camera, but started to feel like I was being watched after a bit. Made the decision to pull the trigger on the purchase, but after I was made to feel I wasn't allowed to be there any more when all I wanted was a bit of time to consider a...
