Where to start with this place…….
Their touch screen menu seems to always be out of date. For at least a month or two, it kept saying they didn't have soup when they actually did. And when I asked at the windows if they had soup, I usually got a confused look for even asking. Luckily, after I finally explained it, they seemed to have fixed it, but I'm not sure why they never noticed.
The waiting times are all over the place. Sometimes I have gotten through in maybe 3-5 minutes, and other times I am waiting up to 45-60 minutes. (I have seen more than one person leave just due to how long we were waiting.) Typically I am waiting for a while though, so don't go if you are in a hurry.
They constantly get my order wrong. Not once or twice, but well over a dozen times in a row now, if not more. Wrong bread or always trying to add unwanted cheese and condiments. I'm not sure why they insist on adding stuff we don't want when I'm sure it's costing them money. It was so bad this last time that we just threw away half our order (an entire foot long sandwich…). The drive through is very convenient so I keep going, but this is just getting absurd now.
Service is a hit or miss. Some workers are very kind and helpful while others are frustrating to say the least and don't seem to know how to do their job. You can usually tell just by the service how things will end up during your visit.
Communication here is quite awful in my experience. As mentioned before, I always have to specifically ask for soup and this is usually a dreadful experience. Even figuring out if they have soup is usually confusing and even worse trying to figure out which ones they have. I once requested a certain soup and was told they don't have it despite their menu saying otherwise. I agreed to one of the other kinds and was given it, only to have to wait nearly an hour as they put the first one I requested on to cook. They did not tell me any of this until I finally grew frustrated and asked why it was taking nearly an hour to make my sandwiches. Until then I just kept being told that it would be done in just a few minutes. Even worse, my sandwiches had apparently been done for who knows how long and were just sitting there with them in the store (literally was told the sandwiches had been done for a while). I am usually very patient to those who work in the service industry, but this pissed me off.
Overall, I really really want to like this place. I like Subway and this location is especially convenient, but this place makes that incredibly hard. From now on, I will probably try some different locations as this one is a constant disaster. I cannot in any good conscience recommend this location to anyone, and can only hope that one day they can get their act together to provide great food...
Read moreI was there around 2:48 pm on 09-06-2020. I am so disappointed with this subway now. I have been going for about months. The service is terrible now. A new guy was asking for help making my supreme meats sandwich. It wad a foot long on flat bread. The black lady there was not nice or willing to help. I had to tell him where to bead wad and how to make my sandwich. We didn't even out the right amount of meat. But he eas new and stressed do I let it pass. As he was making my sandwich that same lady said this other sustimer had been waiting awhile and she needs to quickly make that order (even though I was there in line 1st). He made my sandwich while she worked on that other order. He then set my sandwich aside for someone to ring me up. The other lady called for help up front and a nother lady (Mexican I think) came to help. Both of them began working on that other order and I asked if someone could ring up my order. I was told I needed to wait. I couldn't belive this. But I waited and wad still ignored and that other customers order took priority over mine. Thus should neve trapped and I will never go back. It's close to my job and thr only thing besides Mc Donald's. So it sucks the service is so bad and it has gone so far down hill. Its locally owned too. So I hope thr owners do some training or something to get this place the way it use to be... so if you go there, be warned. We should support locally owned, but with service like this,...
Read moreWe were rushed by staff because we had 6 sandwiches. Aside from their initial impatience, it was good. Great food, even though we made substitutions for a couple things they were out of... 4.5 would be fair.
Edited: Today we ordered by mobile app. We gave 30 minutes to get the order made. We were told that our order wasn't there and told I must have ordered from a different subway. We did not. Our bank showed that the money was pending. I showed that screen to them and was told they didn't know what to tell me. Initially they were not going to make my sandwiches. Period. After speaking to a manager and having to argue with him, and having him scoff about my $80 order he finally agreed to make my sandwiches. He accused me of not providing enough time to receive and make them. No. 30 minutes and you can't get a digital order and make 6 sandwiches? Just no. Then I still had to pay at the register. So now I need to call my bank tomorrow to remove the first charge.
2 stars is being generous.
In addition to that cluster f**k... one worker was not correctly wearing her mask, another took his off, and a patron wasn't wearing one at all.
I will probably not be back. MVP is a block closer to my home and better quality sandwiches for the cost. I'll just wait until they reopen if...
