I just left this Staples due to horrible customer service! I went to this Staples looking for a double ended USB cable also know as a USB male/male cable cord. I use one currently in my vehicle to connect the travel TVs so that they show the same show being played on road trip.I own a cord like this already, but wanted a longer length. I found the isle on my own and then proceeded to look for the cable. One if the male salesmen approached me and and asked what I was looking for. I told him a cord that had a USB port on opposite end and is referred to as a usb male to male cable cord. I showed him the cord. After he badgered me with athousand senseless question and telling me that I was using the cable wrong, etc. He then tried to tell me that the cable I needed requires an extra adapter. Soooooo the cable that I have been using for 3 years, the same cable that came with the travel TV/DVD set was wrong.... WHAT A MORON!!!!! I then proceeded to just ask the salesman where the cord I showed him was at in the store. This moron still tried to convince me that the cord I showed him was wrong and I should by something else. I left the store highly upset and bothered. It will be a very long time if ever in life I step in to this Staples again. I would rate them 0...
Read moreIt has been a long time since I've had such excellent customer service! General rule is no one gets a 5* as there is always room for improvement. Kareem was awesome. I went in with an issue that he could not completely resolve without help of management. He handled it quickly and was also very informative in his explanation. He was not hurried, I felt as if I was his only customer. Michael, who cashed me out was equally awesome! Sometimes clearance merchandise is priced incorrectly and/or It's really not clearance. He priced checked every item and again, it was if I was the only customer. I was not aware the store closed at 7p.m. on Saturdays and it was at least 7:15 when I made my way to the register. The only reason I knew was because I left my wallet in the truck and he had to let me out. Not ONE TIME did any of the staff tell me they closed at 7. I was not asked to leave or reminded of the time. This is the best experience I have ever had at Staples and it would be a privilege to me to have these 2 gentlemen assist me in the future. Read moreI ordered business cards on April 18th. Today is April 20th. I ordered 1000 cards online and was given time of 7:30 pm for my cards to be completed on the 18th. No email stating my cards were ready so I had to go o their website to look for my order. I found "order processing" but mind you my credit card had been billed. I called the store here in Albany Ga and waited about 8 minutes waiting on an associate to answer my call. When finally my call was answered I was given the excuse that another employee started my order but never finished...very gross customer abuse. I advised the associate to just cancel my order and refund my $26...I was told that she did not know how to refund my money ...wait for it...I would have to come to the store for a refund!!! At this point I am livid. I told the associate i would call corporate...another huge mistake, as we all know.
