Krispy Kreme — Restaurant in Albany

Once upon a time it was a good store. The night-shift employees need an overhaul. On a Monday afternoon around 4:00 PM, we placed an order for 120 glazed doughnuts to be picked up at 6:00 AM the following morning for a breakfast event at work. I arrived at 6:00 AM to a locked door and a night shift employee inside laying her head on a table. She comes to the door, unlocks it, and cracks it open so I could talk to her. I told her my name and that I was there to pickup my order. She just stood there staring at me for about 5 seconds. I finally asked her if she knew anything about the order I placed the previous day. She just kept staring at me for another few seconds before shaking her head! I thanked her for her good customer service and told her I'd figure something out before our 7:00 AM event.Without ever saying a single word to me, she eased the door shut and locked it while still staring at me through the door! Thank goodness WalMart Market was open. I rushed to throw something together there.We used to get Krispy Kreme for all our staff on our staff meeting days. But due to this occurrence and others experienced by other managers, the Albany Krispy Kreme will NEVER see our dollars come into their store. Lately, Dunkin Donuts has been MORE than accommodating. I ordered a dozen of the special glazed donuts with the hole and chocolate/cream filling in them on 1-17-25. I arrived to at Krispy Kreme because they said the order was ready. Once I arrived I was told they don't have those type of special donuts at that location. So I requested to have the order cancelled and a refund. The worker advised me the manager had just left and would be back later and she would give her my number to call me and do the refund because she's the only one that can do it. Three days went by and I never received a call. So I called back and once again the manager had just left and they would give her my number but no call that day. So Tuesday 1-21 I called again and was told the manager just left. I called back late that day but this time I was told that the manager only works Thursdays. Called twice Thursday and left my number. Was told the second time there was already a note on the desk to call my number. Then I asked for the manager email or corporate number was denied both and told to call back tomorrow (Friday) because she would be in. Well it's Friday 1-24-25 and I've called three times and was told the manager just left call back in 2hr. At this point I may have to have my bank get involved because they have changed me and I never...

The food here is always good. The only reason I didn't give this place a higher rating is because of the way that I was treated when I wanted to use one of the coupons that they (Krispy Kreme) sent out in the Sunday's paper. The cashier saw my coupon and got really angry and wouldn't honor it! I told her at the speaker that I had it and she was fine until she saw it. It was the one that said"buy one dozen for a certain price and get the second dozen for. 99. She straight out told me that I couldn't use the coupon after I had ordered my donuts and told me that I had to buy 2 dozen before I could use the coupon without even reading what the coupon I had in my hand stated! I cancelled the second order went home to contact a manager. When I called back she answered the phone and told me that there was no manager ever there and to call back another day!!! I have not been back since. I don't spend my money where I feel mistreated!!! I work to hard to give my money to a business that that helps to provide a paycheck to a person that is rude and truly needs an attitude...
