Walking on Water Adventures — Attraction in Albuquerque

My friend Suzette and I went out on a snowshoeing bird tour with Michael and Corey last week. We had no idea it was going to be as much fun and as educational as it was. We rented all of our equipment from MST (snowshoes, poles, and gators) and met the co-owners at a designated spot up on the crest. These guys are amazing guides! They are knowledgable about the bird population of the area, but also about ecology and eco-systems and geology. They had lots of bird books to share with us . They enjoy what they do, and never intimidated or made us feel like total goober snowshoers! It was so much fun! They create the environment for a safe, enjoyable adventure. Both are experienced in many outdoor adventures, and they are comfortable and capable guides. We were out for about 3.5 hours.They adjusted the pace to our needs, and provided a midway snack of healthy foods and warm drinks. I had dropped my phone somewhere in the very deep snow, and they successfully tracked it down !!! You get two cool dudes with tons of knowledge and experience, who can provide the necessary environment for you to have a fun, safe experience. Whether you go with them, or just rent the equipment and go out on your own, they are open to give you tips and information about how to make it great. We came to beautiful Albuquerque all the way from Massachusetts and we wanted to hit the Rio Grande, make good use of the fantastic weather and enjoy nature. On very short notice, Corey from MST Adventures provided us with everything we needed to enjoy a fantastic river outing. Top notch service, (he dropped all the gear out to us at the put in, picked us up at the take off 4 hours and 6 3/4 miles down the river), lots of info and a very pleasant demeanor gave us the peace of mind and the disposition to truly enjoy our outing. We recently took a trip to Albuquerque but were unable to bring our paddle boards due to limited space. I was able to reserve 5 boards very easily online. When we arrived to pick them up the owner was very accommodating and made sure we had properly sized equipment for our group. We ended up taking 3 already inflated boards and two that we had to pump ourselves, this worked very well for transporting them in our case.

This was our first time paddling on the river and we were given great advice on where we could launch and pick up, that was much appreciated.
