Tea Time boba & coffee — Attraction in Albuquerque

Nice store with friendly staff. I can only comment on the one drink I tried, which is the reason for my three-star rating. I ordered the mango sago, and it was pretty disappointing. The drink itself was very thick, so not easy to stir. They layered the coconut on the bottom and mango on top, which meant I had to spend quite a while mixing it before it was drinkable. The bigger issue was the mango. It wasn't fresh mango... just frozen, if I had to guess. Because of that, the sago pearls turned rock hard, making the whole drink pretty meh. They have a pretty great menu though, so I'll try some other items and see if I can't boost that star...

I ordered two drinks, a fruit tea and a milk tea. And I have to say, they are very bad, especially for the price. I went three times to this place and everytime their sugar level is inconsistent. I orded 50% sugar every time, but the first two was overwhelmingly sweet as if it was 120% sugar. I gave it another chance the third time, ordered 50% as usual and the drink this time was bland with 0% sugar. Moreover, I think the pricing is just way to expensive for boba, almost $9 more a cup...for bad boba 😔 I have given tea time so many chances but I was met with disappointment...

I visited for the first time today and must say this place is as awesome as the reviews say it is. The staff gives you lots of time to look at the menu with no pressure and happily answered any questions we had about the teas or add-ins. If you go with the brown sugar, you might want to go with 50% sweetness Unless you love the sweet. But the drinks staff and atmosphere were all amazing and worth the price, which isn't too bad. Will be going back and I hope lots of people give this place a try, I believe...
