Lime Vietnamese Restaurant — Restaurant in Albuquerque

I just returned from Lime Vietnamese Restaurant, and I must say it was the worst Pho experience I've had in town. Firstly, the staff was incredibly unfriendly and remained indifferent from the moment we arrived until we left.

Secondly, we inquired about the difference between #13 and #10. The server confirmed that #13 was a lemongrass soup, quite spicy. We asked if they could make it less spicy, to which she simply replied, 'No, the soup is pre-made.' So, we decided to give it a try.

After what felt like an eternity of waiting, she finally brought out the Pho. Temperature-wise, it was lukewarm, far from the piping hot Pho soup we expected. And as for the spiciness, it was not spicy at all! Later, I asked if they had made a mistake, clarifying that we wanted #13. Her response was accompanied by a very unpleasant expression, 'If you ordered #13, the chef can only make #13.' It felt like we were eating day-old soup; they didn't even bother to separate the noodles. A few noodle clumps stuck together like a yarn ball!

Despite the presence of less than 15 customers in the restaurant, the service was painfully slow. We eventually had to go to the cashier's desk to pay since the waitress never returned to our table. We stood in front of the cashier for a good 10 minutes, and the waitress showed up twice, asking 'Are you ready?' on both occasions. Each time she said it, she promptly left! It felt as though she was merely reciting the phrase without any intention to assist us. We were indeed ready to pay and leave, which is why we had been waiting at the cashier's desk for so long!

This is the first time I've ever felt compelled to leave a negative review for a restaurant. Having lived in ABQ for 28 years, I can confidently say that this was the worst restaurant experience...

Had to give one star to give a review. Had this place three times. First time had a remake because I found insect in my pho. Look at photo. I wanted to give them second chance so I agreed to a remake. It was fine. Second time no issues. Today I place an order for shrimp fried rice $15 and chicken stir fry $13. Shrimp has poop in every single shrimp. I coukdnt not tell if rice has peper ornwas contaminated. Song told me send photos of shrimp that was not cleaned. I propped shrimp out of rice so the poop was visible in photo. I sent photos. Took both entrees back. Waitress who was not helping me but was at register was rude made me very uncomfortable. Slammed register. Song brought cook from back showed him the shrimp. Stated she could only refund me for the shrimp. But would remake my food if I would like. At this point I was so ready to run out of there. Very unprofessional. I stated I wanted full refund because i did not eat the food. She said she coukd not do that. Offered fornme tontake back chicken stir fry! I declined. She went back got the cook because she didnt want to refund the $15. He took calculator. Calculated the shrimp. She took $15 cash from register. Gave it to me and said she gave me an even $15. She also stated I was not welcome back because I said I was posting a review on google. I get lunch here very often at my office and it is DELICIOUS every time with everything ive ordered. Recently I wanted my family to try Pho. I knew they would all really like it so for my sisters birthdays we went to sit down at Lime. We were a large party of 9 people. After we were seated they brought us waters and effectively ignored us for about 20 minutes, even greeting and taking the order of a smaller party that arrived after us. That party received their food before we place our order. When the waitress finally came to take our order she got to one person and then my dad started giving her his order and SHE WALKED AWAY WHILE MY DAD WAS TALKING WITHOUT SO MUCH AS A WORD. She walked away very quickly and then went to the back. We were all so confused and honestly we should've walked out right then. She proceeded to deliver food to another table making multiple trips. She was not the only waitress and there were maybe 3 other tables total in the whole restaurant. She didn't return for maybe 10 minutes. When she finally did return she did apologize but kind brushed right over it. I've worked in food service before and I have never seen anything like that.
