I traveled extensively, looking for the best. Someone told me this place had the best spaghetti they have ever tasted So I thought I would try it. Before I finish, I would like to state, many times reviews are the exact opposite of what you see. I've been to many places with 100 good reviews and the food sucked! Well I went here. And I will tell you I traveled 1 hour to get here. And I discovered probably the best spaghetti sauce I have found anywhere. Atleast the most refined. Some taste good because they just cover it up with seasoning. This was very refined, not strong, just perfect taste, you wanted to absorb every bite. The spaghetti was the best i have ever had, the sauce the best, the meatballs were one if not the freshest i've ever had. These folks are using fresh, good quality ingredients, I can tell. And there was a lot coming in to buy the food. IM at home now, this was 5 hours ago, im stuffed, but still licking my chops it was so good, so perfect. If You want the BEST SPAGHETTI this is the best I've found near pittsburgh, 2nd best is probably 2 hours from pittsburgh, and another one was in Kitty hawk sc. Trust me, im picky. This place has awsome spaghetti. Who ever owns it, thank you for seeking perfection,...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMe & my family have been going to Romas for years . Their gnocchis are top tier as well as their roasted chicken and broccoli & linguine. Although Iām not sure if there is new management or something but the last two encounters i have had were not so great. My mother in law order a tray of gnocchis when she went to pick up they tried handing her a tray of spaghetti and therefor she had to sit for a half hour for them to get what she actually ordered. Then I ordered today gnocchi & meatballs and I said Only meatballs THREE time I get home to find out itās the meat lover gnocchi with sausage chicken and one meatball. Now if they were actually apologetic for their mistake on the tray of gnocchis that would have been a different story but no & then to mess up my order again pretty lousy on their part and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI've been having this annually at a family member's house for many years now. While the food isn't bad, several dishes could use improvement. The lasagna & gnocchi are quite bland. The broccoli linguine has lots of flavor, but is sometimes in a "soup" of oil - so much that it pools in the corners of the pan. I do like the meatballs and the house-made Italian dressing. Also, it would be helpful if instructions for heating were printed for the customer somewhere - this year we were served very overcooked pasta, and I'm sure this could have been avoided if my relative didn't have to rely on memory for preparing multiple frozen dishes. This happened once before, too.
I hate to criticize, I really do - but for the premium price that Roma charges for these trays of authentic Italian meals, I...
