Cedar Beach Park is basically Allentown’s version of Disneyland… if Disneyland swapped Mickey Mouse for pickup basketball games and pool parties.

First off — they’ve got exercise equipment out here, so if you’re the type who eats three cheesesteaks and then suddenly remembers “oh yeah, I should probably work out,” this park’s got your back. Then there’s the lake path — perfect for a peaceful walk, a romantic stroll, or just dramatically staring at the water pretending you’re in a music video.

Volleyball courts? Check. Basketball courts? Double check. Playground? Oh, it’s not just a playground — it’s basically a kid’s jungle kingdom where little Timmy can go full Tarzan.

Parking? Yeah, it’s decent, but don’t pull up on a 98° summer day expecting VIP treatment — when the pool is packed, it’s every man for himself out there. Speaking of the pool, it’s nice, it’s clean, and only six bucks a person. SIX DOLLARS. That’s cheaper than a sad fast food meal, and instead of regret, you get cannonballs and sunshine.

And the activities? Forget about it. Basketball tournaments, pool parties, random events popping off like side quests — this place always has something going on.

Bottom line: Cedar Beach Park isn’t just a park. It’s a lifestyle. Definitely one of the coolest spots in Allentown. If you see me out there dominating the the bball court (dunking from the free-throw line) (or, more likely, wheezing on the exercise equipment), just mind...

I really like Cedar Beach Park. Sometimes I'm just out for a stroll but most times I like to bring my 4 yr. old to the playground ... she LOVES this playground! Regarding the playground, it's put together quite nicely for what it is. It's VERY LARGE with lots and lots to do for the kiddies. I can almost guarantee that your little one will have a blast here. As with any place I review, just be mindful of the times and days you choose to visit, it can get very crowded and there are times when both the children and parents alike can loud, rude, and even disrespectful ... it happens. Keep in mind that this is not at all my usual experience, it's usually quite pleasant and I generally enjoy my visits very much. So ... the playground is a definite A+, bring the kids and have a blast! It's clean, safe, quite large, and the kids will love it. The park itself is very clean, quiet, and easy on the eyes. It really is a beautiful park to visit. There is a playground, swimming pool, creek for fishing, volleyball courts, walking trails, and most things you expect to find in similar parks. There is even plenty of parking but that doesn't always mean you'll have an easy time of it if it happens to be crowded when you visit. I would recommend this park very much and don't have anything to say negative enough to warrant not stopping by and at least checking it out. Remember to bring the kids, I assure you that they will absolutely love...

PLEASE IF YOU LIKE MY REVIEW PLEASE HIT THE LIKE BUTTON FOR ME...Everytime I visit Allentown Pennsylvania I make sure I at least make a decent stop at Cedar Beach Park. I also take the walk by the small man made water fall and dip my feet into the water to get in tune with nature. Also the rose garden park across the street is also a very romantic walk for those in LOVE!! I explored the playground for children which is a decent size. It has many entertaining part for children and it has working facilities and functional water fountains. The pond is very relaxing to watch as the ducks do their thing. If you get hangry take a walk to California Burrito and have a taco. Recommended!!! ** Note There are garden snakes in this park so please do not let your children run into the wooded areas take a look at my pictures for the garden snake!!!! Thanks for reading my review don't forget to hit the like...

This is definitely a hidden gem just on the outside of the city of downtown Allentown. Really nice playground for kids with kind of a rubber ground that they could walk on so they won’t hurt their knees if they fall. They do have a public swimming pool here in this area but I’m not sure if it’s been opened in the last year. Very nice walking track that leads up to downtown Allentown we’re all the way over to the Rosegarden right up the street. Nice pond area to just sit in a peaceful environment and meditate or take a good walk and enjoy the scenery. Muhlenberg college is directly across the way from here and plenty of local restaurants within walking distance. There are good amount of parking lots were you can park your car and feel safe in the area. I frequently spark allowed to do some pictures or ride a bike or take a walk.

OMG! We attended the Water Lantern Festival at Cedar Beach Park in Allentown, Pa. The park is huge with picnic areas as well as play equipment for the kids. There is also a beach volley ball area and plenty of parking too. The Lantern Festival itself was magical! Lots of people, and everyone respected each other's space and lanterns. The smell of food trucks and music filled the air! There were plenty of vendors too. It was such a beautiful experience, especially at night when you released your lit lantern into the stream to watch it float your wishes into the universe. So many lanterns, so many wishes! 😀🏮
