Saucon Valley Searchlight Auction — Attraction in Allentown

First time bidder with this auction house and it was a great experience! The LiveAuctioneers website is easy to use and the bidding process is transparent, meaning that messages were clear about counter bids and the fair warnings gave everyone a chance so terms were sold for the best price the interested bidders were willing to pay. So unlike the unpleasant “snipe bidding wars” I’ve experienced on other online platforms. I paid a fair price for my items and was surprised when I picked them up that they were actually in better condition than the photos showed.

The only glitch was my inability to use their pickup scheduling website, but I made a phone call and set up a pickup time. Staff were friendly and appreciative of my participation in the auction and helped me load my purchases.

In closing, I highly recommend this business. I have attended auctions since I was a boy, so this is not my first rodeo, so I believe I speak from experience.

By the way, here is a radio I purchased for only a few dollars and I’m looking forward to its only needing some light...

I bought a very nice watch that was limited edition from Disney in a collectible case. The auction went very smooth, the transaction went very smooth and shipping was not slow however when i opened the box and the item, it absolutely smelled like i just put my mouth in a cigarette ashtray! The item was very obviously from the home of an incredibly heavy smoker and the smell of the item was not even remotely mentioned in the auction conditions. An item smelling this bad might as well have been a smashed item because it is worthless with how awful it smells. Had that condition been mentioned in the item condition section of the online auction then i would not have even bothered with this item. Beware of this auction house and their lack of reporting of the condition of their items. UPDATE: The auction house worked very diligently to correct the issue and rectify the lack of description...

If I can give this great auction house 10 STARS I would! From start to finish, they are that excellent with everything they do to help you to process your valuable collectables and antiques, with absolutely great care and MOST importantly, accountability. Unlike, in some other auction houses that suddenly, somehow, someway, some of your valuable items mysteriously disappear then they claim they never had it even though you have documented with them that they do. Why go through all that hassle, headaches, anguish and small claims court dates or more, needlessly? Reassure and ease yourselves with your important valuables with this awesome great auction house!
