UPDATE: My update is posted below. Seriously reconsider if you have anyone with you that uses walkers.
Great service, great food. My family enjoys coming here. Waitress was very friendly, coffee was made fresh. We were greeted and seated right away. Try it you wont be disappointed!
UPDATE: I'm changing my rating. There was an incident there, and I'm still upset by it. I was there a week ago with my aging parents. My mom uses a cane. My dad uses a walker. has suffered 5 (yes 5 strokes in one year) thankfully he fought hard and can walk but heavily relies on his walker. He had to use the bathroom. I was trying to assist him, it was crowded. The hostess with the long straight brown hair, came over and attempted to pull his walker out of the way. She literally almost had her hands on my dad's walker. I grabbed the walker and steadied it and with my other put my hand ✋️ out to stop her. She was attempting to physically move his walker out of the while my dad was trying to walk so she could seat more people. Who in their right mind pulls a walker away from someone walking with it?!?!?!?!?! Gus, you know my family especially our parents but you need to train your staff better on how to deal with people who use assistive devices. She apologized but was a snot when we paid. I'm still fuming. My dad can not afford fall, especially one by an inconsiderate hostess in a hurry to make more money for that diner. Gus I honestly don't know if we will be back. We've been coming to you for years, we grew up in the neighborhood. The food was great, our waitress was nice but that snot nose hostess needs to learn how to work with elderly. She will be that age eventually. I know she's been there awhile but had she ripped my dad's walker away and he had fallen, there would have been hell to pay. Check your cameras. We were seated in the back room while your family was visiting. I am still livid which is why I still have not spoken directly to you yet Gus. This is why the above ratings reflect your hostess's behavior. At this point, I would advise people if you have elderly people in your party who rely heavily on walkers go elsewhere. The hostess is very handsy with getting the walker out of HER WAY and not giving them patience. She's a lawsuit waiting to...
Read moreThis is probably my favorite diner in the Lehigh Valley. It's a cute little traditional diner that has all of the classics you would expect. The food is good and cheap, the coffee flows freely enough that you'll almost never see the bottom of your cup. It's there 24/7 whenever you want it, whether it's before or after church, before or after the bar, for a cheap date or just for a cheap night out with friends. Maybe you just want a bottomless cup of coffee and a gigantic slice of pie or cake.
The owners do their best to support the local community by letting local non-profits use their doors as kind of a bulletin board. I like businesses that try to help the community but don't do it in a way that is super in-your-face.
It's everything you could want from a diner.
They update their decor constantly to match the season, holidays, or other pop-culture events in a subtle way around the top, and if you go regularly it's something that kinda endears the...
Read moreTerrible! I watched a waitress prepare what they call disinfected water for cleaning with dirty cleaning rags in a bucket on top the food counter. The disinfect was "FABULOSO" the purple one. She then wiped her hands on her jeans and handled a customers drink, again came back to her bucket of fabuloso got a rag cleaned a counter again handled another customers glass for a refill never once washing her hands. I brought this to the attention of my waitress she laughed and really thought it was ok. After we're checking out the young girl with the fabuloso hands is in the back of the diner saying "she's really salty about that" owner comes over like a bull in my face like I did something wrong trying to justify his employee's action when all was said and done had to let him know the people I was dining with we're in the food business what she did and using FABULOSO...
