This is hands-down, one of the best places in alliance, if not the best place. To be honest, I’ve never felt more comfortable or welcomed anywhere else in my life. It feels like home every time I go there. I take friends there and we have discussions about life and what it takes to be an active role in the society in a part of this world that matters. if you take a look around, there’s many many qualities about this property that go unnoticed. There’s a sundial in the back without a dial and that means something to me. I heard along the way that you should always pay attention to a place that has a Clock with no hands. So anyways the most captivating and by far impressive feature is just out the front door maybe 25 yards is a circle. They call it a witches circle, but I don’t know if that accurately describes that specific area. For me it has a lot of meaning in my life because when I was a little I was at a funeral across the street. It was somebody that was really close to me and I was having a hard time with it. My mother was there and she noticed that I was having such a hard time and she asked if I wanted to go for a walk. So we walked across the street and she took me right to that which is circling, what happened there changed my life forever if you wanna know more feel free to go there and explore yourself. Consequently I will be there as much as possible in the near future. I’ll plan to revitalize that property and get it back to the opulence it once was. Planting flowers, and plants and taking care of the direct aesthetics of the place. Hopefully I’ll see you all there. Have a great day take care, and I love you PS thank you most of all to the city of alliance and the Glamorgan castle itself for being one of a kind and very, very...
Read moreOne of the very few places that I have ever been, that truly takes you away from this time in place and transport you to a land and era, long, forgotten, architecture, that’s seemingly timeless landscapes that provide emerging into a world long forgotten in the hustle and bustle of today’s day and age it’s rare that we find places so local and so accessible as Glamorgan castle to escape the Rustbelt and high-rise landscapes that we are bombarded with every day, a short walk, jog or car trip to this gorgeous diamond in the rough can provide you any number of calm, inducing, serene energies that do a lot to balance out the positive and negative that we experience and are overwhelmed with every day, sitting at a witches circle, or travelling around to the back and experiencing the sundial or Shakespeare of the castle or the two hearts that frequent the front lawn hunting and feeling very young displays truly is magical. N anyone in their right mind would not just drive-by drive to and contribute, or at least experience all the benefits that this place...
Read moreNeat place to visit for $10. The tour guide was very knowledgable and polite. The inside of the castle isn't what I expected. The first floor is decorated and laid out how you would expect. The second floor has been pretty much redone and its hard to picture it as it would have been. The old library was magnificent to see as was the 3rd floor kitchen with dance floor. The basement rooms were probably the neatest part of the house but I wish the bowling alley was still in tact. Overall a neat place but a lot has been changed which i understand is necessary but its still saddening. I would go see this...
