Powell Lake — Attraction in Alys Beach

Powell Lake is great for paddle boarding, kayaking, sailing, boating, jet skiing and fishing. Many put their fishing kayaks in on the beach side of the bridge after crossing over from the Destin end. There is plenty of room to drive down to put in and park.. although not paved.. Fishing is very good in the coves on the north end of the lake and in the deep waters near the mouth of the enclosed inlet. Expect nice Red fish in season.
