I recently had the pleasure of dining at Lake Powell Pizza in PCB, and I must say it was an extraordinary experience from start to finish. Allow me to share my raving review of this remarkable pizzeria that left me thoroughly impressed and eager to return.

I've had average-slightly above average meals from here in the past. It was never great, but the convenience was worth it. No more though. I ordered a simple margherita pizza for my wife and I, and what I got was possibly one of the worst efforts ever by a restaurant to fulfill and order (see pics below). When I got back to room, I called to tell them the pizza was wrong, the 6th grader, who took my call and happily collected her tip when I picked it up, had to hand the problem solving to the 8th grader who apparently was running the place that night. I explained the issue, and told him I was happy to come back up and get the correct pizza. There was no basil nor fresh mozzarella on it, and for the first time ever we were given either ground beef or sausage on a margherita pizza. (pic included). The "manager" said in so many words, "sir, how do I know the pizza is wrong? I mean I can't see it" I told him again what I got what was not what I paid for or tipped well for on a take-out order. I could see that he had no intention of making it right so I let it go with the intention of never going there again. It's very sad actually bc we've been owners at Carillon Beach/Pinnacle Port for 30+ years, and to have an employee treat us like that upsets me. The lack of desire to make things right is concerning. This is either poor hiring on the owner's part, or par for the course as the property has gone through many owners over the years. If you're in the area, I suggest Bruno's Pizza in Watersound, or Bubba's Pizza on 98 about a 1/2 mile from Carillon Beach. Plenty of other places to not only get better food, and more importantly better customer-care...

Don't know how this place has over a 4 rating but let me say this I am NOT from this area nor did I eat inside or see the interior so I just gave 5 stars for that, I sent my boyfriend in to grab our call in to go order. We live in Atlanta where you can get waaayyy better pizza, wings, and salad for HALF the price literally so maybe I'm bias but definitely not impressed at all. Wings were extremely large, barely wet with seasoning, salad looked like it was just thrown together with a bunch of spinach leaves, the pizza tasted ok but compared to any chain or other pizza I've had definitely 1 out of 10. It was little tough but just overall $100 for whack pizza, bland, big wings, and salad that looks like I could make at home in 10 seconds, it's a no for me. Being on vacation we were unaware it was inside a resort so maybe that's why the price was so high. But any chain pizza I've had is better than the pepperoni and cheese pizza I tasted. Gratuity at 20% on a to go order is outrageous to me! Then another 'A&E' fee whatever that is for $4. Literally spent $20 on fees no food. Come to Georgia for better food and price, sorry...
