On my second visit to this Casino, upon entering I was met with a very rude little man yelling out and demanding to see everyone's ID...which I know is required, but clearly on a BIG Power Trip.... After encountering his yelling.. The Blaring noise level hit me....From the machines, people talking and from music playing in the back ground. NEXT I was able to enjoy the fresh aroma of Piss, B.O. Vomit(maybe) and stale cigarette smoke. All of which made it hard for me to breath. I was always under the impression that Casino had systems in place to clean the air...Maybe a filter change is do? So... I made my way to the Bathroom...and let me tell you...dirty...dirty...dirty...Then I thought, let me get a drink before I set down, to lose my $$. DRINK STATION was almost as dirty as the Bathroom....Skipped the drink... Luckily I could 'Hover' in the Bathroom... didn't want to risk swallowing anything from this place. AT This point I don't know why I didn't just leave...I guess I was determined to lose my hard earned $$.... SO I arrived at the Roulette table....I absolutely LOVE the set-up/style of the ones here... not the same as the ones in Terre Haute or Shelbyville... Theses are a PLUS... NOW the let down... The large screen inthe middle that shows the Roulette wheel, was so dirty with a film from all the cigarette smoke, the screen was Blurry. THE cover that actually covers the Roulette wheel was covered with dust and other particles, it was yucky. THE actually screen that you place your Bets on, of course was dirty, had cigarette ashes here and there, that I did blow off.....yes I shared my germs...I figured I'd leave my contributions. AFTER AN Hour I was out the door... I could smell that place on me....my clothes, my hair, and I think I could taste it... Took us an hour or so to get home....I have that smell in our car... I hope the smell doesn't stay in my car....I like gifts, but I don't want that gift to keep giving...I don't think Anderson is one of Indys bigger cities...and I don't know the job situation. But I would think that a good majority of people that work in Anderson is employed at this Casino...and I don't know how busy this Casino is ( it was busy this evening ) so would assume that you are making a good Profit. I guess I am not understanding why the issue, clean during down times? Check you air filtration? I know there has to be something to do about the excessive noise... This Casino reminds me of the nasty old run down Casino in Las Vegas...you know, on the old strip... very disappointed that I drove from Plainfield...should have went to Terre Haute or...
Read moreWe decided to stop by here on the way to Ohio and we were not disappointed. We pulled in and noticed a shuttle, I went inside and got details on the places the shuttle picks up from Alice in security. She was so helpful! We came back later by shuttle and the driver (Ivo) had some great food suggestions. After eating, we found a place at one of the many electronic roulette stations. Debbie Q. from housekeeping came by and made sure the area was clean. We loved that and instantly clicked with her. She made sure our area stayed clean throughout the 2 days we were gambling and we appreciated that. The other housekeepers do great too. It’s one of the cleanest casinos we’ve been to. The waitresses were great and the drinks were strong. Hope they get free alcohol drinks while gambling soon. Food was good. Buffet isn’t worth the price if you have to pay although the Italian Station was good! It was very odd to not really see any live tables. I did like all the many different roulette stations. Hopefully you will get that Baccarat one fixed soon! We really wanted to play that. Better yet, get a baccarat and roulette station like Harrah’s in Biloxi. Better ventilation should be a priority for the new owners of the casino. Or move some of those electronic roulette tables over to the non smoking side to help. Smokers are hurting other people’s health- shouldn’t they be the ones put in a corner somewhere with little games to choose from? It won’t stop us from going but it would be nice if they could figure something out to make it less smoky, especially around the roulette area as people typically sit...
Read moreI used to look forward to casino nights.. emphasis on “used to.” I’m a Seven Stars Player (invite only tier level) I have an 80k win/ 43k loss record from the previous year and play slots exclusively. That being said, I haven’t hit a $1200.00 hand pay since May 2022. At this point I’m convinced that the “players card” is a tool to manage how much your “allowed” to win, so long as you’re a liked player.. I was actually told by an employee that the reason I wasn’t winning was because of “the crowd I hang out with.” I thought this was a joke, considering I would spend anywhere from 2-5K almost nightly, and then seemingly out of nowhere it was like I was prohibited from winning a hand pay. I don’t care who I “hang out with,” the fact of the matter is I don’t “break the rules,” and further more I spend money.” People I associate with should have absolutely nothing to do with how I’m rewarded for playing, yet this seems to be the case. I went from $100.00 of free play almost every other day to an insulting $15.00 once or twice a week. I haven’t spent nearly as much time or money here yet I’m still currently at Diamond Plus and haven’t hit anything over $500.00 with my players card, but can sit at a slot and hit decently when not using my players card. I actually feel discriminated against, and truthfully I’m not sure why.
If you want to have a fair chance of winning, and want to enjoy yourself doing so, I highly recommend Bluechip, or Fire Keepers. Otherwise you’ll walk out feeling in a bitter and down mood like most patrons of the shell...
