Achilles Restaurant — Restaurant in Ann Arbor

Mediocre food bad customer service. Food is fine. It's eatable. Customer service sucks. I was picking up gyros. When I was picking up, I asked the waitress whether gyro sauce was in the box and she said "yes". Well, it wasn't in the box when I got home. Since my wife can't eat it without the sauce, I had to drive back. Of course, they gave me the sauce but I asked for some compensation because I had to drive all the way back to the restaurant. Mr. Stavro Malaveci, the owner of the restaurant, said "no way jose" even though I told them that the idiot waitress told me that the sauce was in there. The waitress gave me this nonsense about how she did not pack the food. Why did she say "it's in the box" then? I think restaurants should ALWAYS compensate customer with something if they mess up. The bottom line is, they will NOT care if they mess up your order. Terrible customer service. I am NEVER going back. Food isn't that good anyways. Ordered takeout from here over the weekend. Upon returning home we realized that several things were missing from our small order. I called the restaurant and spoke to a lady who was trying to help me but then another lady interrupted and took over the conversation saying "you left your food" when I tried to explain that we took what was handed to us she started to talk over me and raise her voice to interrupt me. Eventually her boss took the phone and tried to ask me to come back to refund me for what was missing however we did not have time to drive there and back to get what was owed to us as we were leaving out of town. Love all the omelettes and thought I would try the Super omelette. We got it to take out and it was terrible. The meat tasted old, very little cheese and the chili was tasteless straight from a can chili with no beans. I remember when Achilles made their own homemade chili. We still love all the other omelette and food choices so will continue to be loyal customers but maybe they could make improvements as needed.

Still like most omelettes but just today when I went to pick up my takeout order I found out the price for my omelette was increased by $3.00. I was told it was because the owner gave a $2.00 raise to the waitresses. Oncreasimg orices by almost 30% unacceptable for me. I will not be ordering from...
