Anthony Travel Information Center — Attraction in Anthony

After a long day of driving, we stopped here for potty break and for everyone to grab a bite to eat. We were in our RV and literally the only vehicle there! As we were eating, a state trooper passed through to make sure things were good. It’s a nice stop, right off the freeway and easy off and on. There was an outdoor spigot for me to be able to refill the water bucket for our girls without having to go into the building.

CLEAN BATHROOMS! This rest stop and tourist information center is very clean and has plenty of parking all around. There’s benches, picnic tables that are covered so you can rest in the shade during the day.There’s snack machines available near the bathrooms. The bathrooms are very clean.

This is a really really nice restaurant stop. If you need to pee STOP HERE! haha. There’s also restaurants, gas stations, and stores nearby. Wet n Wild waterpark is also located less than...

Wow! This was the nicest visitor I've ever seen, in ANY state yet, and the only staffed visitor center I've seen in 2 weeks. It was really nice, large parking areas, little picnic areas, bathrooms you would expect to find in a nice restaurant. FREE MAPS! Actual maps, not just a sign. They showed me how to take a scenic route to avoid an accident, and it led me to one of the most amazing views I've seen yet. I'm only a couple miles into Texas and blown...
