Antioch Coin & Jewelry Pawn — Attraction in Antioch

We drove from Stockton CA because we were told over the phone it was a possibility we could sell our items. Upon arrival we were told to get out of the parking lot or the gate would be closed on us. Very rude, but no offense was taken. As soon as my boyfriend brought in his items, the clerk was very unprofessional and sharp telling him "we don't take those because they're not commercial grade". There was no customer service at all, offering no explanation, as to why we were not told over the phone, that this pawn shop does not accept non commercial grade tools . To say that all types of tools and items are accepted is false advertising and false marketing because that is not the case at the shop in person. Upon leaving, we were told to go "figure out who is going to buy it" which was very offensive, but none taken. It is unfortunate that a business with such a good reputation has has to be dealt a low rating and low review because of an unfriendly, clerk who lacks basic customer...

Needed some money for bills because I was short this month. So I went to Antioch Coin & Jewelry and got a loan on my gold necklace. When I went back to pay my loan and get my necklace I couldn't resist this beautiful gold and ruby ring. I got a great deal on the ring. And I found out that if I need another loan in the future, I can take the ring in and get half of what I paid for it on a loan. If I took it anywhere else, I would only get gold weight. Everyone who works there are very courteous too.+ Now I went to pay off a loan and put a really nice gold chain on lay away. Couldn't help myself, it was such a great deal. "M" gave me an extra discount as well. I believe it goes without saying that I am a very happy camper! I have 2 very nice rings, and two extremely nice 18 kt gold chains. And if I ever need some extra cash, I can get half of what I paid for a loan on everything I bought from Antioch Coin & Jewelry Pawn. That's like having an insurance policy for emergency....

Every time I've been in there I've had a very positive experience.Especially Everytime Ashley helps me. Ashley is very Sweet very knowledgeable And honestly should be management as I Already thought she was. Considering she always helps and has the customers Best interest at heart, She always discusses all my options and makes sure I have what I need. I love that she also takes the time to get to know you, she also took time to talk to my son who is 1year old (flirts with her and threw his pacifier her way) and loves her, everytime after the first time she helped us she knew who I was and makes sure to ask how my son is doing even if he isn't with me that shows me she is there for more than a paycheck and invests into her job as well as her customers.Ashley in my opinion should be upper mangement. Everyone else that has helped me is great as well very nice staff, Just really feel Ashley deserves...
