I can in a week ago to get a few items. There was a pastor on a megaphone in the parking lot which made me feel uncomfortable. I tried talking to a manager about my concerns about this going on in their parking lot but the manager refused to talk to me. I had waiting 10+ minutes for a manager and then was told they were too busy to come out. They said the pastor had a right to freedom of speech in their privately owned parking lot they pay rent for. I’m all for free speech but not outside of businesses. The “supervisor” and the security guard kept asking me if I had an issue, which I obviously did if I wanted to speak to the manager. The security guard then proceeded to tell me that if I felt so uncomfortable with what was going on in the parking lot that I myself should confront the individual. As I said, it was their grand opening so it was packed. There were a few hiccups and a small mix up of our food (which they caught and corrected themselves) but overall we loved it. To top it off we were fortunate enough to be approached by the owner and his lovely wife for a quick but sincere conversation. Of course it's easy to show people what you want them to see, but they did a great job of making us feel welcomed and comfortable in their new establishment.
To sum it up... the food was delicious!
Now that being said, go eat at Lupita's and...
Read moreCielo Supermarket is such a great neighborhood market—super clean, well-organized, and stocked with everything you actually need. The produce is always fresh, the meat department has quality cuts at fair prices, and they carry a nice variety of both everyday staples and specialty items.
What I really like is how easy it is to shop here compared to the big-box stores. The aisles are neat, staff is friendly and helpful, and checkout is quick and efficient. It’s convenient without sacrificing quality.
If you’re looking for a local supermarket that combines freshness, good prices, and great service, Cielo is definitely worth making...
