So here's my story: I received a "hand me down" iPhone 11 from my bro. Unfortunately, he had replaced the IPHONE battery with a non-OEM battery that went bad. It actually expanded a bit. It happens. The battery was barely keeping a charge, face recognition wasn't working and the volume would intermittently lower on its own. I took the phone to two different Apple stores and they refused to install a new battery because their diagnostics was displaying other issues other than the battery. I was very close to buying a new phone but instead decided to give Apex Wireless & Phone Repair a chance. I'm very glad I did. Not only did I receive excellent, friendly service from Mo and his beautiful wife - Linda - but he was able to resolve all the problems I was having. He fixed the battery, face recognition and volume issue. The Man is an engineer with a speciality in robotics. You think the Soy Latte sipping folks that Apple is hiring have an engineering degree specializing in robotics? I think not. The man opened the phone right in front of me in like 20 seconds. He made it look easy. Your phone is safer in Mo's hands than Apple. Plus, Apple was trying to sell me a new phone instead of fixing the problems I was having on my existing phone. Mo fixed my phone for like $80. So.......let's see....get a working phone for $80 or buy a new one for $800? I think even the Soy Latte sipping Apple employees can figure that one out. Let me start by saying he was a very nice guy in person. Also, he does a great job of getting your stuff fixed quickly, which is great.
That being said the main problem I had that caused me to drop this 5 star review to a 3 star one is communication. His ability to professionally communicate with me was poor. Several emails he sent me were rude and unprofessional. To be clear, I am not saying that he is rude, he's not, but he needs to learn how to communicate with a customer.
My other big issue was that he didn't completely fix my phone, after he replaced the screen the new screen didn't fit all the way into the housing and he was unable to figure out how to push it back in, so he gave me a case to hold it together.
My minor issue was that he didn't seem to really be confident with his own abilities (which made me doubt them also). For example, after the initial fix (a screen replacement), my proximity sensor stopped working, he didn't know how to fix it, so he tried to google a solution right on front of me (he didn't find a solution). I ended up finding a solution online, but he decided to not use it and instead buy a whole new housing for my phone (this only partially fixed the problem).
Overall, he was a nice guy with OK prices, but I won't be a repeat customer. I wish him best of luck, but I would...

During this visit, I had an old iPhone 6S with a shattered screen and an iPad that had been non-functional for the past 8 years. The repair process for my iPhone did take some time, but I was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional service I received.
Not only did they successfully repair the screen of my iPhone, but they also generously provided me with a complimentary screen protector due to the extended wait. However, the most heartwarming aspect of my experience was receiving a call from the store, informing me that my previously non-functional iPad 3 was now in working order. This was particularly emotional for me because it contained invaluable photos and videos of my daughter during her early years.
What truly set this store apart was their decision not to charge me anything for the iPad repair. Moreover, I paid only half of what I would have paid at an Apple store for the iPhone screen repair.
The individuals at the store were incredibly kind and their repair services far exceeded my expectations. I wouldn't hesitate to visit them again in the future, and I will certainly recommend their services to my friends.
