Indian Food Bandi — Restaurant in Apex

Had been here for the first time yesterday. I really liked the staff who are very welcoming. They answer all questions and were very friendly. Now coming to food I would rate it a 4 especially after taking the opinions of my family as well. The Parotta with Paneer curry was very good and so was the Gobhi Pepper Fry. But when it comes to Dosha the sambhaar was below par, definitely not like the Saambhaar we are experienced to. And my wife did not like the masala of the Masala Dosha. They give 3 chutneys which is awesome and I even got an extra set. Really nice of them. They peanut chutney is the best of all. Coconut chutney was missing probably that was not made yesterday! But definitely a place I would recommend because you get good tasty food, and sufficient quantity for a very good price! So please try Indian...

Recently discovered this food truck in our neighborhood... The menu didn't help us much because we're not as familiar with Southern Indian cuisine... but the people were so friendly and eager to offer suggestions! 😊 (They were quite busy and we were the only Gora in sight, lol!)

We knew we wanted to try their Chicken Biryani (which was amazing!!), and thought we'd get a couple of samosas to go with it, but they were sold out. We ended up ordering the Masala Dosa (a delicately crispy crepe with moderate filling of potato/veggie/masala). instead of the samosas. It was served with three chutneys and a small cup of sambar (a kind of lentil stew) for dipping, and it did not disappoint! We look forward to going back often and trying more...

I ordered Ghee Karam Idly and Ghee Karam Dosa from Indian Food Bandi, and honestly, they were amazing! 😋 The first bite instantly reminded me of home — the authentic South Indian flavors, the aroma of ghee, and the perfect blend of spice in the karam.

The idly was soft and fluffy, and the dosa was crisp and delicious, both loaded with rich ghee flavor. The sambar was outstanding — thick, flavorful, and perfectly balanced with tang and spice. It really brought the whole meal together.

I truly got the taste of India here! 🇮🇳✨ Highly recommend this place to anyone craving real Indian flavors, especially those who miss the traditional ghee karam taste. Definitely going...
