Every time I walked to a local businesses , it’s like this amazing thing that I love to hear the unique stories of how they started , the struggles , the wins and the losses , the owner used to work in Starbucks , And built this store from scratch, pandemic took a hit , but the love of the daughters And the resilience to make it work , Regular people never understand how hard is to be a business owner, and to gain a costumer base . This store is real cute , my daughter picked some pieces to build this great bracelet, the owner made a ring for her right at the spot , you can find one of the kind jewelry made by local artists , She has a desk where you can make your own pieces of jewelry. Downtown Apex offers a good variety of local Artists And places to go , the area is very Unique, very clean . I had such a great experience with Adventures in Bloom a few days ago! I have actually never been in the brick-and-mortar (have been meaning to do so for a while!) but I needed a few small gift items for 3 different occasions. I prefer to shop small and local when I can so I thought I’d check their website to see if they had some products that might work. Not only did I find almost everything I needed, I felt great knowing that I was supporting artisans and small business owners in the process! I have newborn that I still don’t feel super comfortable going into public spaces with so the fact that they offered curbside pickup was truly the icing on the cake. They even called after my order was placed to talk me through the color variations of one of the products I purchased. Laura of Adventures in Bloom did an amazing job with my daughter's 7th birthday party. I was hesitant at first thinking the girls may be too young for something like this, but I was so wrong! 14 little seven year old girls descended upon the boutique and had a blast making their own unique necklaces. Laura was patient and helpful with each guest and took the time to help them individualize their necklace. Each chose their word (love, friends, unicorn, peace, gymnast, etc) and hammered away!
