i visit this park several times a year. this is my kids' favorite park in Appleton. big park with playground, pond, hill, and flower garden on the south half, and baseball diamonds on the north half. the pond is stocked annually with rainbow trout and they are fun to catch despite their small size, and there are plenty of other small panfish to be caught from the little fishing dock as well. my kids love flying kites on top of the hill in the summer, and sledding in the winter. i give 4 stars because the playground keeps getting torn down and rebuilt, they're all great but each time slightly less fun than the one before, so i wouldnt be surprised if the current one gets replaced in just a couple years again.

One of our favorite parks when visiting appleton. So much to do and the rubber floor is my favorite type of park. My kids love everything about this park. They also really enjoy the interactive trail that you walk and there's a page from a book to read every few feet. The pond is beautiful view and the bathrooms are clean. My only complaint is the bathrooms are too far away from the playground. Other than that we love it here.

Covid restrictions and mandates are very much adhered to and enforced at the local hockey arena. This made for a great experience for the athletes of all age brackets to compete but also for spectators to cheer on their favorite teams. Highly advisable for any one wanting to visit the ice hockey arena to check with the website and/or person(s) provided for contact with regards to check in procedures prior to visiting.

Went to a venue iside of the park for a wedding and this park is awesome. Its got everything. Playgrounds, bathrooms, baseball fields, basketball courts, tennis courts i believe, and plenty of walking trails. The leaves when i visited were beautiful too. I would highly reccomend taking your kids there or just going there yourself. Its awesome.

Big Park with a little of everything for everyone! Three playgrounds for the 🚸kiddos! 🎣Fishing pond is popular. Lots of winding 🚶♀️walking trails🚶 with shade, plants to identify🌱, butterflies🦋 and benches to rest🪑. Dog friendly🐕🦺. More than enough parking 🅿️ on both side of park. Overall fun spot to get away and relax.

The reason I visit the park is see the Scheig Center Gardens. The gardens are sleeping now, but from spring through fall, the gardens are beautiful, and free to visit.
