I first visited Bermudas in 2020, initially, I believed this place to be quite great. As a returning customer over the years, there has been a decline in portion size and quality of the coffee. The price to portion and quality ratio are subpar. I visited this place today and it will be the last time I visit Bermudas. Over priced coffee and food. I cannot believe that a triple shot cappuccino color is nearly white and we had to pay extra just to get it to the proper variation. The over priced omelets are terribly bland as well. I would have given this place half a star if possible. We paid a whopping $80+ for 3 people, 3 breakfasts, 2 coffees (one with 5 expresso shots because they serve milk with coffee instead of coffee with milk added), a juice and a horribly bland pionono empanada (nothing compared to a real empanada). To make matters worse, coffee isn’t even served hot, its warm at best. Ridiculous.
Advice for management improve your quality of food or lower your prices. You are one of the most over priced coffee shops, if not the most overpriced coffee shop in Arecibo and Hatillo combined. Your location is great but the food is terrible and the portions are not rational compared to your pricing. There are two other locations that beat you in quality of service, food, portion and pricing. You lost a customer of 3 years and should take this feedback seriously and conduct a proper...
Read moreI've always drank mochas...but today I actually experienced it. "Luciano" the barista who made this mocha put Starbucks on the same level as McDonald's because he blew the roof off what a mocha should taste like. I've had to add sugar or cream to improve my cup after I order it. However Luciano crafted the perfect cup of mocha & I never had to a single thing but an extra tip. I literally tasted every single ingredient in perfect balance and that has never happened before. I had to stop drinking it because I wanted to savor it so I saved it till after my meal. Usually mochas get sweeter towards the end because the baristas don't stir up the ingredients well. So the quality diminishes in the last sip. However I tested Luciano's quality to see how good it was untill the end and I took a sip of water to clean my palate then drank the very last bit and found it satisfactory. Luciano's Mocha puts out Arecibo on the map. When you stop by here ask for Luciano. My meal was also very delicious and the table service was very frequent. This was a really great experience at Bermudas. I think the most surprising parts of this was the price which was more...
Read moreExpectacular brunch restaurant located in ocean front of Arecibo. The beautiful view, low music and relax vibe make this place a great option for brunch. Everything was great, the pastrami sandwich and the hot cereal (maizena, corn starch) were very tasteful. Weekends morning tends to be crowded, but the service were pretty fast. The frappe coffee takes about 8 minutes to be served and the rest of the order 22. Also they got a lot of tables (like 12 in the terrace + inside) and a drive thru. This could easily be a 5 stars review but they got a big problem with mozambiques (or changos, is a local black bird) on the terrace. Lots of chairs and the floor are stained in what appears to be bird poo. Maybe a type of net/plexiglass around the terrace or a trash can at the exit when people could take the remaining food could prevent the birds. Plenty of parking and credit...
