Modern park in East Arlington — one of the first I’ve seen with a mini skate park 🛹
You won’t be able to miss this park when driving by because the playground is YUGE 👌🏻; it’s like a castle… so it’s perfect for the kids. So tall that you might actually need a harness and rope to repel down (just kidding).
Grass is mowed, the skate part concrete is clean with no gravel to get stuck in your wheels, and the pavilion is perfect for families, birthdays, or even just to escape the shade.
The atmosphere if very family-friendly. Unfortunately, I did see one guy cursing at his baby mama on the phone by the baseball fields, but besides that it’s safe. And by the looks of it, those East Arlington local families roll deep… so I think the odd-ball who may wing by is certainly outnumbered.
Also, saw a few locals bike in and relax on the bench too. Theres no designated parking lot, but you can just park anywhere on the curb around the loop.
Overall, definitely a surprise 5-star park for me. Good job East...
