RetroGameRehab — Attraction in Arlington

I am an out of towner, but come through Arlington from time to time. There are a few stores in the greater area I make a point to stop in and check out the selection. I was really happy to see a new store pop onto the local options when I did a new search.

Upon entering, I saw a very clean and well-organized store with a fantastic selection. I was especially excited to see a lot of games from retro Sega consoles represented (CD, Saturn, Master System) as well as a plethora of accessories. The locked cases have some excellent selection of rarer and hard to find games - there were so many titles I wish I could have grabbed!

In my brief conversation with Jason (and also overhearing his discussions with other customers) it is clear that there is a genuine passion, care, and knowledge of all thing Retro Video Games. Plus, he had a stack of "Retro Gamer" magazines, so I know he is legit. This shop is a must visit.

One note - I loved that there was a price sheet for the master system games - might be good to have that for other items if they aren't marked or you update more regularly, like some of the accessories and strategy guides. Helps some of the folks who might be...

It's a smaller store but the selection is amazing! There are even vintage game guide books with posters still intact!

I bought a GameCube with 4 controllers, Mele, and Double Dash. He tested EVERYTHING in front of us and even gave the disks a good cleaning/resurfacing as a courtesy before we headed out the door.

Prices were right on point. This retro stuff can get out of hand in the secondary market (especially when you prove it works) but the prices here were more than fair. Highly...
