I desperately needed a pair of sturdy sandals as mine were worn from frequent nature walking. It was my second time there and first time actually shopping, and not just glancing around and buying 1 thing. They were SO kind. It’s my birthday and they gave me the birthday discount and were genuinely friendly. One worker helped me find things with no hesitation and chatted casually. I comment on these things because it’s hard to stay positive sometimes in these environments where customers can be rude, exhausting, and inconsiderate. Uptown has a pretty good selection and plenty of dressing rooms. I feel that the prices can be high considering it’s a 2nd hand store(but they’re not unreasonable). My biggest issue is some of the workers have an attitude, some are super sweet but some seem like they’re judging you the entire time. I had even heard a couple of “ew who would wear this” as they were going through a customers clothes. I’m not saying that they aren’t entitled to opinions, but maybe lower your voice. In all fairness, every “higher end second hand store” seem to have the snobby attitude workers….but it makes you not want...
