I was recently recommending this restaurant to a friend who lives in Athens and I noticed some of the negative reviews left about Fusion from the past.
I worked at Fusion Noodle between 2015-2017, and I can tell you EVERYTHING at this restaurant is made from scratch. Don’t forget to ask for their underpromoted Soy-vinegar dressing. It pairs well with nearly everything on the menu (ie Pad Thai, General Tso’s/Sesame chicken Wraps, and rice).
Also their chicken is bought fresh and hand chopped/breaded. They do this daily so the chicken is always fresh. Their produce sourced from the Athens farmers market. Their steak was locally sourced from a farm when I worked there. They make their own simple syrup for their smoothies instead of just paying $3 for a gallon of it. All food prep done in the morning and throughout the day. Homemade yum yum sauce. This is not your average Chinese restaurant. Tony and Abby have brought something special to Athens!
Prices are always reasonable considering nothing they prepare is from GFS.

Read moreWith a restaurant, there is a very special relationship with the people who enter your eatery. The food here is spectacular, however, because of the way I was treated, I don't feel like I would return. Upon entering, the lady gave off a definite annoyed front and only calmed down somewhat after I had paid for my order. Then the gentleman seated at one of the tables, who clearly worked there, making what looked to be Pot stickers, except for how they didn't have pot stickers on the menu so that couldn't be it, I asked him if I could take a video of his hands preparing the food and he looked at me with annoyance and shook his head while saying no. I would understand if he didn't want to and was polite about it, but his rude demeanor was truly another take for a simple patron trying out a new place. If he didn't want to have attention drawn to himself, then there was a kitchen, clearly meant for cooking where he could have taken the raw meat and uncooked food to ultimately prepare the...
Read moreMy friends and I ordered basic dishes: sesame and general tsos chicken, pad thai, fried rice, etc. We were really disappointed. The chicken dishes seemed like they were made of frozen chicken that had been freezer burnt before they were cooked - they were soggy, oily, and unappetizing. The friend rice was like white rice with some soy sauce and a few veggies. The pad thai was red (?!) and had little flavor. And the diet pepsi's we ordered were all past their expiration date. Overall, really disappointed and will never order again. We inquired about a refund and were told that these dishes were their best sellers and "no one" has ever complained. I'm sorry, people of Athens, if this is what you find to be acceptable Chinese food. Delivery just...
