Amazing studio! Having practiced regularly at four (4) of the top studios in the Midtown/Buckhead region, for me this one is the best, hands down, and is my new home. Reasons?
The classes. Clearly, ownership has set a standard for balance with equal emphases on strength, flexibility, skill, and conditioning. Each class is super challenging, yet accessible to all levels. I have not experienced anything else like it. I feel myself getting stronger and progressing deeper into my practice each week.
The teachers. Wow! They are all incredibly skilled, highly engaging, and deeply thoughtful in their approaches to every class. Each has a unique style that fits within the studios's balanced philosophy. This results in a diverse offering with a unifying consistency that is unmatched in my practice so far.
The facilities. State of the art. Upon entry, you are met with a bright, open lobby with an ultra modern feel. The lobby leads to a series of cubbies with three changing rooms for convenience. A hall wraps around to two full bathrooms with showers and changing rooms. The studio is large with high ceilings and a full bank of windows and mirrors on opposite walls. Natural materials complete the scene resulting in a warm, bright, inviting practice area. My favorite so far in the city.
If you are looking for a studio or are at least open to visiting new spaces, sign up for the trial month and go. Don't think twice. You won't be...
Read moreI started my yoga journey with Bring It Om a couple of months ago, and it has improved my life dramatically. Working with their instructors has built my stamina and showed me that I am capable of much more than I could ever imagine for myself. You can tell that each flow is created with intention, and every instructor I’ve worked with challenges you to push you to new heights while also focusing on longevity within your practice and offering adjustments and modifications along the way. I would also like to mention a really cool experience that I had because of them. I’ve had a ganglion cyst on my right wrist for years, and when I consulted doctors about it I was told I could get surgery to have it removed or get it aspirated, but either way the cyst could return. Leti (owner and instructor) gave me some valuable advice as to how I could move forward in my yoga practice with the cyst, since it gives me little range of movement, and guess what! After a few weeks of proper technique I noticed that my cyst disappeared! What! I have more movement and feel so encouraged to deepen my practice. So yes, I highly recommend taking classes at Bring It Om. They are conveniently located next to Virginia Highlands with no hassle parking. Thanks for everything you do...
Read moreBring it Om is an inviting, warm, healing, and relaxing yoga studio experience. I always feel welcome here because the studio has such a positive vibe and an amazing community. The instructors and classes differ in intensity and style. The instructors are professional, personable, well-trained, and caring. Laila, Cara, Charlotte, and Leti are some of my favorite instructors. I usually take the evening classes with Laila and I absolutely love that we start out with a softer flow/vinyasa pose and then ease into the more challenging power flow moves. By the time you get into the power flow, your body has relaxed, adjusted and is ready for a challenge! At that point, it just becomes a great deal of fun to get into the rhythm of the practice.
Laila ensures that our class is a holistic experience - we set an intention for our practice, start with a mindful warm up, flow into a solid workout, and all the way through maintain that focus on breath, and nurture the mind body connection. Moreover, the music is always soothing and the incense and dim lights help create a beautiful environment for the practice. To wrap up the practice, the studio provides us with lavender scented fresh cold towels, which feel wonderful and just right after the...
