All the food I tasted was good. Prices were fair but a few items could’ve been reduced a couple dollars like the Brussels and the Mushrooms with salad set deal. Dark chill mood vibes. Really Great restrooms, utensils, plates and service.
Brussels-delicious and well presented. Too saucy today
Eggplants-Delicious all around- absolutely perfect to me. The grill taste is pronounced and that oil on the plate was worthy to be licked. Ordered twice
Lamb Pocket- it was deconstructed- I wasn’t expecting that. Great price. The breading was wow-really good. Ordered twice, glad we did because the second time it wasn’t deconstructed, loved it.
Beet Salad- 10/10 The beets weren’t flavored, but the salad flavoring when eating with the beets was perfect. Beets are great for you.
Donuts-love the Cardamom Custard on the side-Great Dip. The Donuts don’t look like donuts. Fried crispy dough puffs that were tasty but was looking for a circle donut with hole. This dessert would go well anywhere-it has churros vibes. Could’ve had a few more big puffs in a larger cup.
Mushroom Skewer- good and quality mushrooms-maybe could be a few less $. The roasted red peppers were too soft on the salad. The goddess dressing should probably be put on the side as it was a bit heavy. Ordered again on my second visit with couscous this time. Wish I would’ve removed the feta but I must’ve missed it on the menu.
Lamb Skewer-good. The cooked medium but I like medium well. Couscous delicious. Could’ve had a chimichuri sauce. I used the Brussels sprout sauce with it.
Hummus Trio was tasty with pita bread. The chickpea option was a lil salty but I didn’t realize I was to mix them in and the flavor evens out. The other two are delicious. Kinda thin Hummus but great in their respective bowls. Always great service here.
I wanted to try the entree’ fish but he didn’t identify the type of redfish. I ordered the seared Cod. I like the cold sauce and fresh Cod taste. Perfect plated and those onions were worth highlighting. Maybe my Cod could’ve been cooked longer. It was 9/10. Lamb Burger and Cod looked great. I’d def come back and recommend. Not many heavy plates so u really have to order several things if you’re very hungry. You def end up spending $50 per but I had an overall good experience. I could see them adding more entree’s and sides. Not a large menu. Appreciate free parking. This is my...
Read morePerhaps we got an off day but we were underwhelmed with our dining experience.
Came here for brunch. Mezze plate: good dips with warm house made pita. No complaints with this appetizer. The issue was when our server offered us more pita and it took over 15 min to arrive.
Greek French fries: not crispy. Nothing special. We ordered them because of the rave reviews and were unimpressed. There isn’t any excuse for French fries to not arrive at the table hot and crispy at a restaurant IMO.
Lamb hot pocket: our server told us this starter would take 15 minutes. My son ordered this as his meal. We didn’t mind that it was the last item to arrive because our server warned us but when it did, the filling was cold. So we had to send it back and they spent another 15 minutes making a new one.
Ela salad: the dressing was too heavy handed on the vinegar. We added bacon for $5 and the server assured us it would be crispy and it wasn’t. And the amount was skimpy for $5. This was the worst dish.
Our server was nice and professional. He handled the cold hot pocket well. The manager came by and checked on us and personally checked on the hot pocket as well.
The other thing that was a bit odd/unprofessional was that I ordered the lamb belly starter and our server said that item was no longer on the menu. So we showed him that it was on two of the three menus at our table. And he said they were slowly making the transition to the menus without the lamb belly. But they have paper menus and literally the only thing the staff has to do is read the menu and throw out the ones that say lamb belly. They can even do it right before they seat a table to make sure. It was an odd response that...
Read moreI rarely, if ever, use the ‘exquisite’ to describe a food experience… but this time it fits perfectly! We were honored to have been able to eat at Ela’s grand opening night and not one bite was disappointing! The have elevated the Mediterranean cuisine to one of the most wonderfully flavorful experiences I have had in my 60 years around the sun!! Each dish (and we had at least 6) stood out as a memorably pleasing journey of the tastebuds! If we had to pick a favorite though - we each absolutely loved the ‘Delecata Squash’, which we later found out was an Ela original creation. I found my fork being drawn back repeatedly back to the this dish! Having agreed on a favorite - we by no means didn’t enjoy every bite of the rest! I am a ‘sauce-girl’ and have now found my go to addiction in their offerings! My own personal favorite was the Grilled Artichoke… I will order this again for just myself! The Mezza Board with its fresh made pita and offerings was so good! I loved both ‘Steve’s Greek Fries’ (perfectly flavored and seasoned), and the Moroccan Hot Chicken with its accompaniment of lovely sauces to be a dish I will order again! It wasn’t just the food that will draw me back many times - the staff from front desk on - including our wonderful server Judah - were each perfectly suited for their respective positions!! A great team has been assembled here!! Kudos and accolades to all who put this group, this offering, this establishment together !! I expect to see heaps of rewards being laid in all the laps going forward !! I...
