From the second you walk into this beautiful establishment you know you’re going to walk out with impeccable brows.
The process begins with Angela spending one on one personal time actively listening to your wants and needs when it comes to the color, shape, and style of your brows. If you are not sure exactly what you want she is able to make suggestions and show you different styles so together you come up with a brow that will perfectly fit your face and brow expectations with subtle, natural, and beautifully enhancing style I’ve only seen accomplished by Angela.
During this part of the session Angela helped me decide to do powder only, however you can do a powder/micro blade combination that looks gorgeous on her other clients as well. It’s just a matter of choice of personal style and how your own brows are shaped and colored that determines what would look best on you, and Angela can help you decide that if you’re not sure. I personally had no idea what would look best on me and Angela took so much care and time explaining to me and showing me exactly what each style and combination would look like until I was comfortable and 100% sure what would look best on my face.
The second step involves Angela mapping out the brows you have chosen on your face and then allows you to see what the shape and color will look like before she gets started. I loved that there was absolutely zero question about what I would walk out with. What you decide together and what she maps out are exactly what you come out with and there isn’t even a hint of disappointment when she is finished! In fact, they came out better than I could have imagined!
After care is explained at the end of your session and Angela is just a text or phone call away if you have any questions. Immediately after the session your brows look very dark then they lighten up, and get a little darker again. During this time you may experience some peeling as well but it’s not bad at all especially if you follow after care instructions which involves no tanning, swimming, sweating, for 10 days and liberally applying a moisturizer.
As far as pain goes it’s not any worse than getting Botox or filler. There is a numbing cream that is applied once she has done the outline of your brows which is done very quickly and it’s pain free from there on!
After your first appointment you set up a touch up appointment 6 weeks after. It definitely takes two sessions so absolutely schedule this appointment. For example, mine required a slight touch of heavier color on one side after the first session due to how my skin absorbed and healed on that side, and I decided I wanted them a little fuller than I did my first session. I honestly didn’t think I could be happier than I was leaving my first session but of course, I left the second session absolutely beaming not realizing they could look even better! Since my second appointment my brows are now completely healed and they are PERFECT!
Overall, My brows are absolutely stunning, perfect, wonderfully natural, and they enhance the beauty of my face unlike I could imagine! I have received so many compliments from total strangers on how amazing my brows look and they are shocked when I tell them they’re microbladed because of how natural they look.

Read moreAfter much research on microblading and shading I decided to get my brows done. After visiting and revisiting the websites of dozens of artists and checking their photo gallery, I chose Angela of Expressions Brow Studio because at that time she had the best portfolio. I finally booked an appointment for March 2025 and made the 5 hour drive to Atlanta. Upon arriving, I showed Angela pictures of me and how I would like my brows to look(natural). I decided on powder brows because they start off light and fluffy then darkens at the end just as your natural brow does. After mapping my brows I stated they looked too thick and was told to trust the process. Me not being convinced, went to Angela’s website and showed her an example from her gallery as my expectation. She again said to trust the process. So I did and was so disappointed with my results. My brows didn’t look like any of the pictures or videos on her page, not even close. They were just what I was afraid of…too full/thick, and uneven. One was fuller and shorter than the other with a sharp point at the start of the brow, they were not powdered but the same shade all the way to the across. I thought about not going back to my touch up appointment but I had already spent $1100($100 for touch up deposit ). I also needed to give her a chance to fix them, even though I didn’t think anything could be done( I was right because my main issue was thickness). I sent text and pictures to Angela a few weeks later to show her the inconsistencies and displeasure in my brows. She said no worries she would correct at the touch up. Well…. the touch up made them tolerable as she had to add hair like strokes (which aren’t visible today)to bring out the shorter brow , one is still thicker/fuller than the other, and they’re still all the same shade. I’m still having to use concealer to get the look I stressed to Angela I wanted. I’m genuinely confused as to how so many things went wrong with my brows when her portfolio is filled with beautiful brows which brought me to her. Actually I’m baffled. Now I’m looking to have them removed only 3 months later. Unlike some reviews my visit was pleasant, Angela wasn’t rude to me at all but very professional. I’m not trying to ruin a small woman owned business but because of my expectation and the money I spent, I feel I had to. Read moreI want to start by saying I never come on these sites and review a company negatively- this is a first. My experience with Expressions Brow Studio is simply unfortunate. I did not even have the opportunity to have my service, as the company was completely inflexible with their rescheduling policy. For context I made an appointment in Feb with the first availability for me in June (the 17th). I am now pregnant and tattooing my eyebrows is not allowed, per their policy and of course health standards. I received a reminder email 48 hours prior to my appt and immediately called realizing I needed to notify, and reschedule my appt after the delivery of my baby. I was told I had to cancel. I kindly requested a reschedule with my deposit applied to the date I reschedule after my delivery. I was told the studio would not do that. I again politely asked for some flexibility given my situation of now being pregnant and not able to have the service at this time since it’s prohibited. At that point I was mocked and questioned if I had just found out “today” I was pregnant? It was an absolutely out of line manner of speaking to a client. What’s unfortunate is I have many friends who have gone to this brow studio because the “work is good” but the attitude is unfortunate. She may speak to clients in a manner that is tolerable and some acquiesce just to have great looking brows, but I refuse to not mention my unfortunate experience which included her yelling once I questioned her rescheduling policy! Regardless, the owner of this company told me in closing I was banned from the studio (again another first for me). I’ve never been banned from any establishment but think it’s worth noting this company will ban you for questioning a reschedule policy in pursuit to keep your deposit.
Tip: setup your clients for success and email reminder notification then the 72 hour cancellation policy or honor rescheduled appointments by applying the deposit to the rescheduled date.
