Level Up Your Game at GameStop: Knowledgeable Staff and Stock That Rocks!
GameStop isn't just about grabbing the latest release anymore, it's about entering a gamer's haven. Not only was the place spotless and packed with the games I craved, but the staff blew me away with their expertise.
Walking in, I was greeted with shelves overflowing with new and retro titles, consoles gleaming under the lights, and a genuine, welcoming vibe. But it wasn't just the inventory that impressed me. As I browsed, the friendly staff approached and asked if I needed help. Instead of a generic "can I find something for you," they actually engaged me in a conversation about my gaming preferences. They knew their stuff, recommending hidden gems I'd never heard of based on my favorite genres. Talk about going above and beyond!
Here's why GameStop gets a thumbs-up from me:
Knowledgeable and passionate staff: They're not just salespeople, they're fellow gamers who understand the hype and can guide you to the perfect pick.
Clean and organized environment: Browsing is a breeze thanks to the tidy layout and clear signage.
Fantastic selection: New releases, retro classics, consoles, accessories – they've got it all, catering to every gamer's taste.

Unfortunately I had to work late that night and most of the morning on the 26th. I go in today to pay of the remaining amount as well as trade in a few extra games I had laying around. Just to find out they have no ultimate editions in the store, according to the clerk none came in at all and that there was a delay in the shipment. They checked incoming emails and nothing said anything about any delays. So my question is this how did he know there was a delay if nothing was said about it? Why is it that I dropped $200+ on a preorder to pick it up the day it releases and I have to walk out of that store empty handed? Why did the 2 clerks on duty act like this is a normal thing and made no attempt to fix the situation. All was said was "I'm gonna have to write an email about this." When and if they do get ahold of me letting me know it's in the store since I wasted a trip all the way to that store for nothing, I will be canceling my preorders while I am there. Not going to take the chance of showing up again to pick up my game just to find out they dont have any to give out. This is not how you run a store or any business for that matter. This will be forwarded to the corporate...
Read morePlaced an order last night to pick up in store. Waited for email to let me know product was ready for pick up. I called and spoke to Jeremiah to make sure it was ready and to make sure when they close since hourse have change due to virus. Jeremiah told me that they would be closing at 4pm today. I said thanks and made my way to Auburn. Coming from Folsom I was absolutely upset to get to Gamestop and see a sign that said closed for the rest of the day. I got to the store at 3:20pm. If he was planning to close early why not say so when I called at 2:20pm. A waste of an hour of my day and my gas. Please tell customers that have a pick up if you will be closing early. Now I have to drive to Auburn again tomorrow. This is the only store that has the product in stock. Hope this doesn't...
