Classic Collision — Attraction in Austin

I cannot begin to put into words how incredible the team at Classic Collision-Ralph Ablanedo is! I had to go their shop previously, several months ago, when a separate vehicle accident occurred (again, the other driver was at fault), but unlike last time, this driver that hit me did not have insurance. I had only liability insurance and so needless to say, I was at a loss as to what to do and who to turn to! I have been calling every dealership and even looked into the government program called, "push, pull, drag" and even they were no longer running this type of assistance to get my car traded in. After many nights of praying, because this wreck happened over one week ago and ultimately the girl that hit me in her car, going 50 mph, with her baby girl in the car and mind you, I had my baby boy in the car. I told her that I wouldn't call the cops and told her I was willing to handle this like civil adults and she agreed. She has now blocked my number and so I didn't know who to turn to. Again, many nights of praying and being thankful that my son and I were okay, because that is the most important part of this whole ordeal, I had a revelation and decided to take a "shot in the dark" and call Jimmy at Classic Collision. I know a little about a lot and that comes to cars, as well. When I called Jimmy and told him that nothing was leaking underneath the underbelly of the car and everything was more cosmetic (BUT VERY EXPENSIVE COSMETIC DAMAGES), Jimmy, without even hesitating told me to come in and they would see what they could do! I mean, WOW! Humans beings like Jimmy and his team are few and far between, unfortunately, but made me feel like I was finally being heard! Jimmy and the team rigged exactly what I knew would probably need to be done to my SUV and to clear the shield under the car, so it was not rubbing against my front passenger wheel. The incredible story doesn't end here! They went above and beyond and even straightened out the front side of my hood, which had major cosmetic deformity to it and they even inspected my vehicle to ascertain that there were no other latent damages which I couldn't see upon initial inspection, with my own eyes! I'm beyond grateful and in tears, for how much they truly do care at this particular Classic Collision! I will continue to refer everyone to them! They are ROCKSTARS!

A HUGE PLUS PLUS: They didn't charge me a dime, for taking the time out of their day, to fix these issues, which you just don't find this type of hospitality these days, as I mentioned before! I am a single mother and in nursing school full time, so getting these repairs done, just wasn't feasible at this time in my life.

So here is the thing. I got struck in my parking garage by some kid who was texting. Having to deal with insurance and repairing my car was not something I signed up or was giddy with excitement to do. I'll admit, I was a grouchy, grouchy customer. AMM was nothing but professional during this time. It was sooo convenient to be able to get the rental and drop it off there and I received calls with updates as to every stage. The car was ready quickly, but I was out of town when it was completed, so they kept it there no problem. Here is being honest- the day I had time to pick it up I had about a million things to do and a million more on mind. I planned a quick pickup and drive off. The car to me didn't feel right, was slow to accelerate and the steering was stiff. I circled back around in a panic, bc taking the time to get this evaluated put me in a serious pickle. Despite my stress and frustration, they took the car for a drive (longer than the .5 mile I gave it) and came back with no issues. I was a fluster of nerves and they kept their calm. I left with the car and said I would get it back when I had a moment. Upon driving it, I felt the "feel" I was used to it coming back. The shop supervisor called while I was driving home and I let him know that I thought things would be ok. I share this to say that going to a body shop is likely an unscheduled problem and because of an accident or other bad day. Taking the meat culpa here for being stressed and frazzled, I wanted to take the time to share that AMM and the team are here to be professional and help you get past your bad car days. If I could do again, I would have trusted and given the time to drive the car for a bit before being worried, and that's my recommendation for anyone reading this review- they care about their work and will follow your concerns up...

I had my Kia optima go to the shop as a referral from my insurance company upon, upon getting my car back it looked as though I had a fantastic job, I had decided to leave my truck because they originally quoted me $300 for an ignition to be put in my truck. I took my car straight home and I hadn't realized any other issue because I hadn't driven it on the highway to experience the issue that they didn't do correct.

About a week or so later I was driving my car on the highway to find out that my alignment on my car was off balance caused by the shawty work done by this collision center when they fixed the collision damage on my side panel and rim. I tried to get a hold of them many times to which I talk to someone three times twice of which they ended up being too busy and putting me on hold to a point I ended up just going cuz I had other obligations that I had to do myself. The one time that I did get a hold of them they completely denied being at fault for the alignment issue at stake.

If I had the choice I would give them a zero stars and I highly suggest that you find one of the other dozens of collision centers out there to bring your vehicle to and avoid the headache from the shop.

Unless if you like to leave your pride and joy in the shop where they won't even answer their phone to let you know how your vehicle is coming.
