upRising is truly a welcoming place to all! The overall vibe is very healing. This is a progressive church where people from all ages and backgrounds can come to worship and find community. There is no judgement for the way that individuals express themselves. The children’s and youth ministries are growing and have become a central focus of the church. Sunday services blend traditional and liturgical components with popular music, social issues, and a fresh perspective on scripture. I love how the sermons provoke both thought and action. The congregants are very active in the Austin community and there’s always something fun going on.
