These people never bill my insurance. They literally just sent me a bill for a service date six weeks ago that was never submitted to insurance. When I called the billing office I asked for a supervisor because I go through this EVERY time I have lab work done. Today, Jennifer was the CSR that got me. I disclosed to her that I spent 11 years doing medical billing so I know how it works. She admitted they had my insurance information and put me on a ten minute hold while she was supposedly getting a supervisor. When Jennifer returned to the line she stated that she had just submitted the claim and that there was no supervisor in the building. We all know that is BS - the supervisor has spoken to me two to four times a year for six years for the same issue. She just didn't want to deal with me. I have Tricare (military insurance) and the lab makes more money off of me if they don't submit to insurance and I pay in full. Sadly, most people probably fall for that because they haven't worked in the industry. My next call will be to the corporate office to file a complaint and then to Tricare to let them know what CPL is doing to Tricare beneficiaries. Look at your bill closely before paying it - make sure they've submitted to insurance and that insurance has paid their portion. Otherwise they are stealing your money and committing fraud by not billing...

Again, maybe just maybe had the front desk lady at your KILLEEN location ( new to me) on Wed, 12/07 right at 8AM focused a tad bit more on her job than being so RUDE for no reason we would not have this issue now. I will go after this as it is not only wrong but also UNACCEPTABLE especially when dealing with people`s time and most importantly MEDICAL HEALTH. After a week of no follow up from my doctor ( unusual as I have been going to CPL for years) I decided to take matters in my own hands to find out what is going on. Besides the fact that you can NEVER EVER get someone to answer the phone, voicemail still has not been set up no matter the date and time you call, I finally called your HQ to indeed have this issue addressed. In the meantime needless to say I wanted to get the real reason for my call addressed. I found out that the RUDE lady took it upon herself to IGNORE AND DISREGARD the orders I put in her HANDS to process and decided to process an order that was in the system from June 2022 from a DIFFERENT ordering doctor! Read moreDue to a health condition, I have my blood drawn and taken for analysis at CPL. They do a fabulous job at analysis tests results. Where they fall down is their billing department. I was told to call back upon upon receiptof the bill, due to having an extremely high deductible, and that CPL would deduct a 20% off the total bill. After calling several times, as requested, they kept telling me to wait to receive the bill, with some confusion on their end. The bill arrived 2 days before it was due, and the person who took my call set me up with a form that she was going to mail to me for the higher ups to make a decision,saying discounts were not in the program any longer. The next day I called back because not paying this bill on time could affect my credit rating. The person said that as of today, they weren't sending forms out any longer.
