Greater Mt. Zion Church has been a pivotal part of my spiritual journey, and I’m so grateful for the impact it’s had on my life. 🙏✨ I first connected with this incredible community through a partnership with Huston-Tillotson University, and seeing my mentors actively involved here made me feel right at home.
But what truly makes Greater Mt. Zion special is that it’s not just a church it’s a place of personal growth, encouragement, and faith-building. It’s where I’ve been reminded of the importance of building my own relationship with God. Because while the church provides a strong foundation, it’s important to maintain realistic expectations. If you’re experiencing personal dilemmas, that direct connection with God is essential—personal engagement and support from the community may not always be consistent.
Seasons change, and people may change too, but having a strong spiritual foundation makes all the difference. Thank you, Greater Mt. Zion, for being a part of my spiritual support team and for always offering a place where I can grow, learn, and connect with my faith. ❤️ #FaithJourney...
Read moreVery disappointed @ the way the programs for Draylen Mason were distributed. I arrived 30 minutes early. I saw multiple people w/ programs. They were being given out @ the desk by 2 females. When I moved ☝ in tbe line the 2 ladies started telling people to get programs from tbe Usher's. I went into the sanctuary and was told by a female Usher that they were not given any programs, she pointed us to the same desk where I had already stood in line. Meanwhile I see multiple people w/ more than 1 program. I see Usher's w / 3-4 programs rolled ☝ in there pockets! It was announced that they ran out of programs but U have the option of paying to print ypur own program. A female Usher handed out about 4 programs, of course I didn't get one in the middle of the service! My daughter was a clasmate and best friend of Draylen's since they were classmates in the 2 year old class@ Hope Lutheran School. What ashame people that new him the longest were the one's that couldn't even possess a program. Very disappointing and...
Read moreI absolutely love this church! It says it is Baptist but it has a non denominational feel. I started going over a year ago and I kept coming back week after week. It took me 3 months to become a member but once I joined I started getting involved in small groups and different ministries. Today I serve in many different ministries and I have met some amazing group of friends.
The messages are biblical and relevant to today. Pastor Clark and the staff are servant leaders. They really care about the congregation and it shows.
There are so many different ministries but the heart of the church focuses on impacting the community and the lives of those who are struggling through 8 great causes. This is what attracted me to GMZ because I can see the impact they are making in...
