This is a stunning bridge for biking with expansive views of Barton Creek. You can bike from Zilker along sidewalks and paths across this bridge to reach Best Buy with access to the Violet Crown Trail 290 access point. You can even get to the shopping centers on Brodie Lane without having to get on a road . For a longer adventure, you can work your way to the violet crown trail going south all the way to the Veloway. The round trip between Zilker and the Veloway makes for a nice all day excursion around 20 miles. If you want, you can find some nice hills in the Barton Creek area by taking a slight detour to Tacodeli on...

Great place to start your hike in the green belt. There is some cool art that changes now and then. Once you're down at the bottom, there are fewer people in the riverbed. My dog loves running around free down there. And to other dog owners, please pack it out. Nobody likes bags of sh!t or unbagged sh!t...
