TRAVIS!! I cannot say enough wonderful things about this man. My husband and I bought an 1800s home that was redone in 1940. Decorating it has been, a challenge, to say the least. As soon as we entered the store Travis gave us a warm welcome and told us he would leave us alone to browse but was there if we needed him. I never once felt sales pressure or anything other than welcomed by him. We asked for some help and he truly went above and beyond helping us design our entire living room (which was no easy task). Whatever he's being paid I can guarantee it isn't enough for the services that he offered. He was extremely patient with us as we bounced ideas back and forth, color matched everything and even helped us design matching chairs, pillows, a rug, etc. We will only be working with Travis moving forward as we go room by room and furnish our entire home. Not only does Travis have en eye for design (and is willing to move furniture around for you) but he is truly one of the kindest humans we have ever met. He gave us a fair price on everything and I can honestly say we will miss him when its all said and done and the home is fully furnished. He even accompanied the delivery to get his eyes on the home and help make further suggestions. How do you begin to thank someone who went above and beyond to make your house a home? The store itself is incredible and filled with treasures but without Travis' guidance we would be totally lost. The man really knows what he's doing and if you have the opportunity to work with him...

Really cool stuff, although I don't like to be bombarded by a sales person. Prices marked really don't mean anything, and the last thing I want to do is haggle over pricing. If you're willing to take $300 for an item, then mark it at $300, not $500 and expect someone to negotiate. I decided to give them no money, I went in there planning to but a table that I found and liked, but just didn't want to haggle, so I bought the table I wanted, which was almost identical for less than half the marked price. I ended up spending about 500, they had it marked at...

We have pretty much utilized Primitives to furnish our entire house. Often, quite by accident...whenever we just stop by to see what's new, we find that item we didn't know we needed.
