If you want a good deep dish, look further!! GO TO THE SOUTH LOCATION!!!! It's waaaay better. If you don't want to go that far south then go to VIA 313. There's not a bad location of theirs. This location of Conans is quite frankly mid on the food. Also they have not updated their drink menu, so OVER HALF the drinks displayed are not available and wont be! The water station was completely empty when we arrived as well. Unfortunately while the food was unmemorable, the manager made sure our visit was one to remember. My friend made a reservation for 15 people for his birthday AND double checked two days in a row that it would be available. When we arrived he let them know that we were there for the party and the (i guess?) manager said that the table was not available and that they had forgotten to reserve it for us. I asked that they remedy their own mistake and handle the people still sitting at that table. Her solution to them? "hey yall need to move people are waiting on this table." So naturally and understandably that family gets rightfully pissed off. The manager shrinks away back behind the counter and does not handle the situation, leaving it to us. My birthday friend is now trying to convince this angry family to try and make nice and see if we can use the table (mind you, this is THE ONLY table that will fit all of us in the restaurant, almost as if thats WHY HE RESERVED IT. We would have just gone to a different area if we could, there was no choice). The manager is literally shaking behind the register and not making an effort to handle anything herself or for the restaurants mistake. It took begging and public humiliation for my friends birthday to continue because of this restaurants unorganized behavior. The family was nice enough to leave eventually after a lot of back and forth, but none of us will be returning after the way we were treated. Don't host an event here, clearly they...

I've dined in twice at this location and picked up once. the first time, I was extremely hungry and we had a pretty long wait, but when I got the pizza, it was so hot, and we were in a hurry since we didn't know of the long wait it was gonna be, so I had to rush, and didn't get to really taste the pizza because it was so hot. loved the look of the place though. second visit was carry out. I ordered the thin crust, plain pepperoni. it was delicious, and not too hot. the crust was a little hard for my liking, but that's just a personal preference. still great. the third visit, in a hurry again to eat quickly and get to work. honestly did not remember it taking that long to make a deep dish plain pepperoni once again, but of course, it did take about 20 or so minutes. then when they brought it, they apologized because it was well done. burnt in other words. the still cheesey cheese on the bottom layer, not the black top, was awesome. BUT once again, I was in a hurry and had to eat very quickly. I had sores on my pallet for days. the burning my mouth part on both visits are really just my fault for being impatient, but just be warned. delicious either way. I'm really drawn to anything that was produced in the 80's be it film, buildings, cars, anything really. and this place just seems like it should've been in some 80's movie. it sucks there's never anyone there, so its not that fun to go by yourself. oh, and they have a GREAT staff, very helpful...

Decided to order from this place because of the positive reviews. I ordered the medium deep dish cheese/pepperoni on wheat. I must say that this was by far the worse pizza I have ever had. Normally, I would get pizza from Pizza Galore whenever I come down from Temple but wanted to try something new to take and eat on my way back North. First, the pizza wasn't cut all the way through so getting a slide off the box was a hassle. When I finally was able to get a slice, as I picked it up the crust was so big and heavy that folded the crust in half to pick the slice up, the slice broke off from the crust. When I picked up the slice without the heavy crust, the cheese and pepperoni topping sledded off and had to eat the slide without the topping while driving. The pizza itself tasted terrible. The sauce was a bit spicy with no taste. Their medium pizza looks like a small compared to other pizza places near by. Oh and be ready to pay extra if you pick up (seriously, who does that?). Maybe it was because I ordered the wheat instead of regular dough but I do NOT recommend you get this pizza. First and last time. Next time I come down from Temple, I'll stick to Pizza Galore.

Pros: great topping portions Didn't take long to get Friendly staff

Cons: Too pricey for the size of pizza Crust too big and heavy to hold without the slice breaking off Toppings comes off the slice when picked up, making a mess Tasteless and spicy sauce Charge extra for...

SO DISAPPOINTED!!! We were very excited to try this place, as we eat pizza all around town, and are always looking for the next best. THIS AINT IT! We ordered the ' Savage ', a $40 pizza. Upon arrival, I picked and ate a jalapeno off the top and immediately new it wasn't fresh. Hopes still high, me and my wife took a bite into what was a watery, uncooked, doughy, dishwasher tasting pizza! The ingredients are far from fresh, we could literally make dough balls from the crust, and the pan was full of water. So.... We complained and wanted our money back. Someone came and said, the water is normal, it's " The sauce ", then said, " I'll call the manager, but you probably won't get all of your money back ". We each took one bite lol! No, we're sorry, would you like anything else, or how can we fix this. Literally all the workers were offended that their pizza is terrible and treated us as if we made the nasty pizza. We went to the store and bought a frozen pizza for $7.99, it looked and tasted much better. This place somehow has good reviews, but read the 1 ⭐'s, they are all inline with our review. Do not eat here, there are MANY other places that actually put pride in their pizza. This was the worst bite of pizza we've ever had.

This local pizza chain was an amazing experience. First it's hard to find good Chicago style deep dish in Texas. Most places just make the crush extra thick and call it deep dish, as you can see by the photos this is not the case. When we arrived we were helped at the counter by Moon. I think they recognized the look in our eyes and our inexperience at Conans and gently led us to some great pizza choices. Even sharing a few menu "hacks" along the way. The wheat crust pizza was also recommended as being "what they are known for" so of course we had to try it. We are so glad we did and will definitely be back. The decor has paintings from or inspired by Frank Frazetta and they added some awesome '80s flare to the decor. We ordered some pizza rolls with some oregano on top and you can see from the photo they were stuffed with some insanely stringy tasty mozzarella. The pizza though was the star of the show. We ordered a Savage (basically a supreme) and it was piled high with toppings with the sauce on top (as Moon suggested). All in all one of the best pizza's I've ever had.

This is a update review lowered to 2 from 5 ordered a savage deep dish with anchovies and jalapenos on one side the person taking the order is very clear anchovies on the whole pizza i say yes its why we come here. When it arrives its not fully cut thru for one then the sausage has a strange taste and we cant seem to find any anchovies at all. I ask upfront where it seems the entire staff is at to learn a new register system. I ask about the anchovy and the owner manager hears and says well your our favorite customer we got a new system and that must be why it didnt show them to add anchovy. He laughs it off and goes back to what he was doing i boxed up the deep dish i didnt want since it wasnt what i ordered and left. This was me seeing if it was worth it to eat there after a long while. Sadly not again if my order will be wrong and its a laugh it off and walk away kinda response. . . . . . Get the deep dish savage with anchovies it has the perfect balance of flavors to turn a anchovy hater into a anchovy dabbler. Went back for a large yall
