If you want a good deep dish, look further!! GO TO THE SOUTH LOCATION!!!! It's waaaay better. If you don't want to go that far south then go to VIA 313. There's not a bad location of theirs. This location of Conans is quite frankly mid on the food. Also they have not updated their drink menu, so OVER HALF the drinks displayed are not available and wont be! The water station was completely empty when we arrived as well. Unfortunately while the food was unmemorable, the manager made sure our visit was one to remember. My friend made a reservation for 15 people for his birthday AND double checked two days in a row that it would be available. When we arrived he let them know that we were there for the party and the (i guess?) manager said that the table was not available and that they had forgotten to reserve it for us. I asked that they remedy their own mistake and handle the people still sitting at that table. Her solution to them? "hey yall need to move people are waiting on this table." So naturally and understandably that family gets rightfully pissed off. The manager shrinks away back behind the counter and does not handle the situation, leaving it to us. My birthday friend is now trying to convince this angry family to try and make nice and see if we can use the table (mind you, this is THE ONLY table that will fit all of us in the restaurant, almost as if thats WHY HE RESERVED IT. We would have just gone to a different area if we could, there was no choice). The manager is literally shaking behind the register and not making an effort to handle anything herself or for the restaurants mistake. It took begging and public humiliation for my friends birthday to continue because of this restaurants unorganized behavior. The family was nice enough to leave eventually after a lot of back and forth, but none of us will be returning after the way we were treated. Don't host an event here, clearly they...
Read moreI've dined in twice at this location and picked up once. the first time, I was extremely hungry and we had a pretty long wait, but when I got the pizza, it was so hot, and we were in a hurry since we didn't know of the long wait it was gonna be, so I had to rush, and didn't get to really taste the pizza because it was so hot. loved the look of the place though. second visit was carry out. I ordered the thin crust, plain pepperoni. it was delicious, and not too hot. the crust was a little hard for my liking, but that's just a personal preference. still great. the third visit, in a hurry again to eat quickly and get to work. honestly did not remember it taking that long to make a deep dish plain pepperoni once again, but of course, it did take about 20 or so minutes. then when they brought it, they apologized because it was well done. burnt in other words. the still cheesey cheese on the bottom layer, not the black top, was awesome. BUT once again, I was in a hurry and had to eat very quickly. I had sores on my pallet for days. the burning my mouth part on both visits are really just my fault for being impatient, but just be warned. delicious either way. I'm really drawn to anything that was produced in the 80's be it film, buildings, cars, anything really. and this place just seems like it should've been in some 80's movie. it sucks there's never anyone there, so its not that fun to go by yourself. oh, and they have a GREAT staff, very helpful...
Read moreDecided to order from this place because of the positive reviews. I ordered the medium deep dish cheese/pepperoni on wheat. I must say that this was by far the worse pizza I have ever had. Normally, I would get pizza from Pizza Galore whenever I come down from Temple but wanted to try something new to take and eat on my way back North. First, the pizza wasn't cut all the way through so getting a slide off the box was a hassle. When I finally was able to get a slice, as I picked it up the crust was so big and heavy that folded the crust in half to pick the slice up, the slice broke off from the crust. When I picked up the slice without the heavy crust, the cheese and pepperoni topping sledded off and had to eat the slide without the topping while driving. The pizza itself tasted terrible. The sauce was a bit spicy with no taste. Their medium pizza looks like a small compared to other pizza places near by. Oh and be ready to pay extra if you pick up (seriously, who does that?). Maybe it was because I ordered the wheat instead of regular dough but I do NOT recommend you get this pizza. First and last time. Next time I come down from Temple, I'll stick to Pizza Galore.
Pros: great topping portions Didn't take long to get Friendly staff
Cons: Too pricey for the size of pizza Crust too big and heavy to hold without the slice breaking off Toppings comes off the slice when picked up, making a mess Tasteless and spicy sauce Charge extra for...
