I’ve lived in this neighborhood for decades and I’m constantly redirecting poorly informed, confused, exhausted and frustrated “hikers” who think this is a trailhead for Sculpture Falls. I can assure you, this is NOT a trailhead to Sculpture Falls. If you’re looking for Sculpture Falls access, use the Barton Creek Trailhead at South Mopac and Capital of Texas Highway or just put this address into your map app: 3918 S MoPac Expy, Austin, TX.

I happened to go for a quick hike here alone the other day. I had my hopes up that the falls would be running but, alas, I should have known better in Texas. I hope to get down here while the falls are in full effect some day. Until then, I'll just have to enjoy all the beautiful nature and the escape form the city hustle and bustle. This is a nice entry point to the Barton Creek area as it offers a view. As with all cities, car robberies can happen anywhere.
