We had an amazing experience at Weiss Field while watching my son and his team, IVL, play a scrimmage here—and I can confidently say this field is a gem in the community! From the moment we arrived, the park felt clean, well-maintained, and welcoming. The diamonds are in great shape with quality fencing and dugouts, and the layout makes it easy for parents to get a good view of the action. Whether you’re behind the plate or walking around, there’s plenty of room to cheer on your team without feeling crowded. What really stood out was the positive atmosphere—friendly coaches, respectful teams, and supportive families all around. Even during a scrimmage, the energy was high, the competition was fun, and the kids were clearly having a blast. My son loved every second of it, and it was awesome seeing him light up on the field doing what he loves. Parking was easy, and the facilities (including restrooms and concessions) were clean and conveniently located. It’s the kind of place where you feel safe and comfortable bringing the whole family for a full day of baseball. If you’re a local team, a visiting club, or just looking to catch a youth game, Weiss Field is a top-notch choice. We’re looking forward to coming back soon—go IVL!

We go here for the Dog Park. We absolutely love it. It is clean. The owners are almost all friendly and attentive and our dog loves it. The rocks are nice too since the dog does not come home covered in mud, and the whole park is shaded which is nice on a warm day to help him stay cool.

Nice little dog park off to the side. Very nice play area with lots of unique obstacles for the kiddos to play on. Also a volleyball court, basketball court, skate park, baseball fields and lots of picnic area with multiple pavilions. This is a very nice place to visit!!

Absolutely disappointing! The owners of this place clearly have no regard for the field or other people using the facilities. Not only do they let their dogs off the leash, but they also allow them to roam freely and poop all over the baseball fields. This isn't just one person, but multiple owners letting their dogs treat the baseball diamonds like their personal playground. It’s frustrating to see them avoid the designated dog park made for that exact purpose. It’s disrespectful and makes it nearly impossible to enjoy the fields for their intended use. Extremely irresponsible and...

Great place in Avon to go with the family. They have a skate park in the back with a basketball court and sand volleyball court to the left of it. It also has a dog bark to the far right. The parking could be better as it's on craven but that really doenst matter unless you have an expensive low riding car. My family go regularly and there are kids...
