Worst bar in Avon Lake. Believe the other reviews and don’t waste your time here. The place is poorly run by a younger woman (who looks to be much older) with zero sense of customer hospitality. When asked her name so I could write a review she responded with extreme attitude “KATE” while proceeding to roll her eyes. She treats guests with hostility and makes the atmosphere flat-out miserable. While sitting at the bar, I overheard multiple people talking about how unprofessional the management is, and I saw it firsthand. When a customer brought up concerns to a male manager, he brushed it off and seemed more interested in pounding beers than addressing issues. I even witnessed him taking shots with staff members, including a server who was clearly underage. The ownership seriously needs to step in, because it’s no wonder this bar has such a bad reputation. Hopefully it shuts down soon and makes way for a place that actually values customer service and knows how to run a bar. Do yourself a favor, go anywhere else in Avon Lake. I have been to this location and the Lakewood location many times during Browns, Guards, and Cavs games.. always a great time. Good energy, good food and good drinks and overall service. However, you advertise a summer cocktail menu and apparently don’t serve any liquor drinks on Sundays until midnight (in the summer? Unsure considering NFL is primarily a Sunday thing). Asked the bartender if this was a city law and she said “no it’s a this place rule.” Very odd and I’m curious if this is true or she just was a lazy employee. Grew up in Avon Lake and have gone here a million times. I now live in Michigan for my job and have a Michigan ID. The girl refused to serve me after asking for my ID and seeing it was from Michigan. She then left and came back 30 seconds later as my friends and I were discussing where else we should go to get drinks and said “If you’re going to talk shit then you can leave” solely because we were saying we wanted to get drinks somewhere else.
