A Baltimore Oddity: Bazaar Review Bazaar in Baltimore is not your average store. If you're looking for the usual, run-of-the-mill items, this isn't the place for you. But if you're a collector of the curious, the obscure, and the downright bizarre, then step right up!

This small shop is packed to the brim with oddities. Think antique medical tools, preserved butterflies and exotic insects, and even obscure prescriptions. It's a bit like stepping into a cabinet of curiosities, with something fascinating to discover around every corner.

While the collection is certainly eclectic, it's not overwhelming. The items are well-organized, and the friendly staff is happy to answer any questions you might have. They seem genuinely passionate about their unique wares and eager to share their knowledge.

Parking can be a bit of a challenge, as it's limited to street parking. However, the hunt for a spot is well worth the effort.

Overall: Bazaar is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates the strange and unusual. It's a truly unique shopping experience that you won't soon forget.

Highlights: Unique and obscure items: From antique medical tools to preserved insects, there's something to pique everyone's interest. Friendly and helpful staff: The staff is passionate about their collection and eager to assist customers. Well-organized: Despite the vast array of items, the shop is well-organized and easy to navigate. Things to keep in mind: Limited parking: Street parking only. Small shop: The shop is small, so it can feel a bit...

This place is straight up weird in the best way. My family and I had a blast here. I got a freaking cool coyote tooth necklace, my friend bought a taxidermy mouse dressed like a pimp, my sister grabbed this little baby figure with a monster tongue, and my wife picked out a cicada necklace. Every purchase comes with free stickers too which was a fun little surprise.

The whole shop is packed with strange and freaky stuff like real bugs turned into decorations, jewelry made with bones or insects, and taxidermy animals everywhere. They even had a human tooth necklace, animal bone jewelry, and a whole freaking human skeleton for sale for four thousand bucks. No joke. They also have old dentist kits, optometrist gear, weird old medical devices, and some tv-ma type stuff tucked around so parents should keep an eye out.

We all walked out with something and left laughing. It is bizarre but in a good way. Definitely worth stopping by if you like oddities or just want a cool and freaky memory...

This is the type of store I dream about. For such a small store there was an abundance of beautiful dark things this world has to offer. There were lots of macabre art prints, a large variety of authentic bones from animals to human, old medical equipment, wonderfully scented candles and even cologne with dark themes, occult books and oddities. If you're into the grimmer subjects in life or goth culture this shop is an absolute must. One of the owners was present and I very much appreciated the way he carried himself, he gave us space and time to look around but was very open and informative when we had any questions. I'll...

Fantastically freaky, weirdly whimsical, unquestionably unique, curiously creepy, and bizarrely beautiful, Bazaar offers a wide array of art, oddities, wonders and more amidst the streets of the Hampden neighborhood of Baltimore. From vintage surgical tools to perfectly curated taxidermy, macabre poster prints to snail shell terrariums, stickers and patches to real human skulls, there’s something for every one to ogle and enjoy. So glad i was finally able to visit and shop in person after years of ordering online. Loved the location, staff was friendly/helpful and everything is really well priced. Will definitely be returning asap!

This is my favorite store in all of Baltimore! I love the dark, odd, and strange beautiful things inside this cute little store. I’ve purchased posters, bugs, bones and skull mounts…yes mounts for skulls. You’ll find so many amazing birthday and Christmas gifts at this gem of a store! I seriously want to sell my house so I can buy more stuff. Be aware though, it’s popular. You’ll want to be early to avoid the crowds. You’ll find street parking but not much.
