Surprisingly unwelcoming. Tried to become a member but it was made clear I must financially support via giving online as they “take the cost” of giving envelops to be mailed. This was not mentioned on the “application” to become a member - so I had written no. This seemed to be the biggest issue in me becoming a member - money. This turned me off entirely. I wanted to join this church for religion - not money!

I have a limited income. Also I live “too far” as they informed me.

I wanted to become a member as I have grown up catholic and wanted to find a new church, graduated from high school here, and also performed several times with my high school choir. I used to have a special connection here. No longer.

A shame they turned away someone who wanted to join a church for religious reason and go out of their way to go to this church and be involved. Clearly it was a money issue. I do not feel welcomed here as I’m not handing them an admittance fee.

Typical of the Archdiocese...

Beautiful church to look at.

I am not a catholic or Christian but I really like looking at catholic church for their beautiful architecture.

I think this is one of the biggest catholic church I have ever seen in person. Lots of details in the architecture and stained glass. They also had 14 stations of jesus carrying the cross on the pillars.

There was nobody there when I went there (evening weekday) but I saw one person also taking a photo.

Lots of free parking right in front.

I recommend it if you are interested in the...

They used the original altar, and it really made the Eucharistic prayer have deeper meaning, especially during the consecration under the big crucifix. After Mass the baptism was in an alcove in the back of the church. It was a very nice, intimate service. I am thinking of making the Cathedral my...
