I came here to print some documents and ended up wasting a huge amount of time and money. I printed nearly 300–400 pages, and everything came out in black and white — even though I expected color. No one informed me that the printer only prints in black and white, and there was no sign near the machine to warn customers.
Because of this, I had to pay twice, reprint my work somewhere else, and now I’m stuck with a pile of unnecessary paper. Before I left, I even put up my own sign saying “Printer prints in black & white only” so others don’t have the same bad experience.
This could have been avoided with a simple notice or by staff letting people...
Read moreIt's great to be able to get 20 free printed pages a day and the staff is really good at being patient and non-judgmental toward the community members who use the space. The downside is it's one of the noisiest libraries I've ever been to. Maybe the quiet rule isn't a thing anymore, but there are always people having full voice conversations, taking phone calls or leaving their ringers and notifications on. I can understand the risk in telling ppl to quiet down, but letting it go unchecked kinda ruins...
