Metropolitan United Methodist Church — Attraction in Baltimore

I do not recommend you to rent this church. This church was referred to us through our funeral home that we use for my friend Home going celebration last Friday, July 26, 2024 unfortunately we paid the funeral Director for the use of this church. We could not get in contact with anyone in the church to get a tour of the church. They couldn’t do anything because the pastor was on vacation my friend daughter made a slideshow which was not able to be played because the pastor was not there and they needed his computer to play it We had no music for the first half an hour until the organist which came from the funeral home got there they had no technician on board so for the first part of the service Our praise dancer had limited music because we had no mic or Sound-system To play her dance music on. The side of the church, where the family sits for the service was blocked with soundboards and the organ so the family could not be greeted by those that arrived for the service. And had to seat in front of equipment and the organ. Eventually, we got microphones with sound. Yes the church was large and it did hold the capacity of people that we needed to be seated The location was perfect, but the service of the church was horrible. We paid $500 dollars for worthless service from the church.I do not recommend this church for any funeral service. Since I posted this review I had the pleasure to speak to the Pastor and the conversation was amazing.Yes the church is old with not the new technology that most up to date church’s are equipment with. I share my concerns Pastor Hudson listen with compassion and understand with heartfelt apology to me and my family.Trying to fix the disappointed that my family experience at one of the most difficult times my family was going though.i felt his sincerity and love though the phone and everything was good in my soul.i now have a new friend and Pastor I can reach out to if ever needed.Yes the church is older and don’t have the updated equipment and some of the things that we now do a funeral these days.The church is large inside and the pastor has a...

The pastor there is the best. He is a teaching preacher who teach people about the Bible. To understand it in a way most people can understand it. The people there are very friendly to guest. They do a lot of things. They have a coat closet were you can get clothes to wear at anytime. Not just church wear as some people would say.
