Ann Korologos Gallery — Attraction in Basalt

Great art gallery in the river Town of Basalt, just 20 minutes from Aspen. The space is elegant with warm wood accents and bright Colorado sun streaming in the large windows. The art is top notch, many local and regional, but several big names as well. Their theme tends to be modern landscapes and Western motifs. Beautiful sculptures and ceramics are tastefully spread throughout the gallery. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I recently purchased two pieces, both oil paintings, from the gallery. Sue Edmonds, the gallery director, was excellent throughout the process. When we visited the gallery, Sue and her staff were in the middle of setting up a new exhibit. They could not have been more helpful, moving pieces so they could be viewed and answering questions.
